If you haven't figured out yet that people whine on pvp forums simply for no other reason then because they can, then you clearly haven't been on many pvp forums before this one. Whining on a pvp forum has remained the standard since pvp could be discussed in a forum setting.

Now that said, are we talking about objective based pvp now? Here I thought we were talking about pvp as in player vs player and a one vs one scenario, hence why I described an ordinary scenario for me when I am out and about in the world.

Please don't mix arguments in a rather misguided attempt to prove your superiority. Anyone who can read can tell that objective based pvp is not what I was alluding to. I am well aware of the differences in play style between the two types of engagement.

Likewise who suggested that simply spamming your most powerful attack was a recipe for success in any play style of pvp? It must have been you because it certainly was not me. Spamming any ability is not something I personally equate with "reacting", although I suppose it is indeed a "reaction" of sorts, but hey to each their own I guess. If it works for you go for it.

Nope. Real PVPers PVP as the underdogs because they know when the gloat about their success, everyone knows they earned it. That's why they play Republic.

So hey, big boy, if you think you're all that impressive and look down on players who don't leave their bases to fight a massive sea of red all by themselves, perhaps you should reroll Republic and lead the charge.

Yeah, I'm republic... but i hate to say it real PvP players don't play this game as it's not really a pvp game. That would require a non class/item based system that has a little more then a rock/paper/sissors component to it. We play the game because it's Starwars and we dont' have any other option for a starwars LAN Game.

Real PVPers PVP. That's all there is to it. Rather than hiding in the base and refusing to come out like are on some servers even though they outnumber the Empire at that given moment on specific servers.

Real PVPers get on with it and PVP rather than cry on the forums that one power casts maybe half a second quicker.

Real PVPers just relish battle and will fight 10 v 20 or 15 vs 20 because you can still win (okay 100 v 10 is obviously not the case, but that's only on some servers and proven not to be the case on others and anyway you can't have more than 50 in there now.)

Real PVPers PVP for PVP sake and PVP all the time regardless of the gear and how long it takes to get rather than wanting battlemaster gear in 5 minutes, crying that the RNG makes them go sob sob, a week or a month until they get gear while real PVPers could wait a year of grinding to get gear and not be bothered because it's the PVP they are going for, not the shiny pixels.

So yeah, the side doesn't really matter. It's your behaviour that determines a real PVPer and not the side you choose.

LOL - right. In this game if you're Imp you have an automatic advantage - plain and simple.

Ok, I admit it, this is part troll, part advertising.

But I myself have quit the Empire and my level 50 and am currently leveling up my Republic mirror. Why? First of all, I got fed up with playing Huttball ALL the time. And for Illum it was just blob and win. Where is the fun in that? I'd much rather that my achievements reflect skill, teamwork and better tactics than just camping and blobbing. I am not saying I am an elite pvp'er, far by, but at least my achievements will reflect my skills and not that I am leeching of others and taking the easy road.

I know its human nature to get "stuff" as easy as possible but others prefer a real challenge and the glory in the victories that follow. That's why I say, Real PVP'ers play Republic.

Also, when people are outnumbered, or in a so called "target rich environment" they tend to work better together and form stronger friendships. I prefer that much more than the trollfest of Huttball the Empire has become.
