The Planets Feel Too Static

You clearly haven't seen the gun fights between Coruscant Security and the criminals on coruscant. Or noticed the ships flying around on Ord Mantell. Or the fact that most NPCs are doing something other than standing still unless they are specifically on guard. Maybe you didn't see the Fleshraiders scavenging through bones for food. Seen the enemies that patrol around areas being a pest when you're already fighting another group.

You only have to take one look at Balmorra to see a planet where everywhere you look something is happening. AA guns. Drop ships. Salvaging teams. Sith leading squads of Imperial troopers against seperatist or republic encampments.

Now admittedly they can do with making this happen more but to say that every planet feels dead and static is completely inaccurate. Most NPCs are doing something other than standing around looking unemployed, be it looking at a datapad, talking with someone else or actively doing something else.

I agree.

I sometimes stop to see what the NPCs are actually carrying on about. It's entertaining.

There is more going on within the planets in this game then zones in other MMOs. But you have to stop and take time to actually observe and enjoy it.

I have and I'm not impressed. Why does the wildlife not attack each other? Why is it the AA gun don't produce any sound? Most npcs are just standing there waiting to die.

TOR has less going on imo. Look at WOW or LotrO. The first time I saw a dragon freeze a mammoth, kill it and then pick it up and fly away I was kind of shocked and impressed. It doesn't happen to often but man is it great to see or a bear in Grizzly hills actually goes into the water and kills fish. The attention to detail is great and TOR could use it.

This is one of the reasons i unsubbed, the worlds feel dull/booring. There is just nothing to explore, you walk the corridors and see it all. There are litterally no dark corners that can be explored and peak my interest.
CE and ... who the frack cares. Hope we all get a good game.

I have seen both wildlife and NPCs interact and attack in this game.

In general, a sound missing in the environment (like a turret), is a bug. But report it.

Day/night cycle, weather and low NPC population/interaction/activity are the culprits me thinks.

I hope BW implement some serious time improving these.

We have differing obseravations and opinions on the environment. Which is fine.

Admittedly, I'm not that far in the game. But I've noticed the city-esque worlds (Nar Shad, Cor) seem closed, linear, small. But others like Hutta & Talia seem a bit better. Exploring for datacrons helps.
