So many battlemaster imps without even full tier 1 or 2 pvp gear?

FACT:

1. Afk does not get you valor, you need to deal at least ONE damage to the target to gain valor and daily credit for that target. Healing a person that is killing the target does not count.

2. Turrets do not give valor

3. Every target has diminishing returns on valor. First kill, full valor + credit. Second kill within at least 1 minute and less than 5 minutes (tested it myself) of the same target yields ZERO valor and NO credit.

You may bet 1000 valor in the first minute, but you will get none for the next 1-5 minutes unless there are different targets.

The most extreme abusers of 1.1 Ilum went from 50-60, and that is on a highly populated server with super dumb republics constantly showing up in Ilum to provide free valor.

Looking at the number of BM titles, I don't think the number is as high as people claim. Yes I know people don't necessarily have to put their title on, but you'd think if you did that in one day you'd want to brag about it too. I also inspected quite a lot of people randomly in WZs, and there was only one person who was rank 60 that I didn't know about before. The guys who I know that are Champions (rank 50+) are still Champions, and people I have no idea who they are are generally still well below rank 50. Still, it only takes a few guys getting BM undeservedly to get people angry, since people are not rational. You could be stomped by a legit BM but you're likely going to think that guy just exploited their way. I was a BM a week before 1.1 hit and people still assume I got my title from Ilum when I have it on.

So to sum up your post, a roll back of valor would be of benefit to yourself?

Not that small...no one went from 1-60 but tons of people who were weeks away from 60 got there in one day. I'm seeing at least 3x more BM's in warzones since 1.1....before you might see one every couple of warzones now its 2-3 every warzone. Even if they were all rank 50+ valor that's still a few weeks of grinding which was achievable in a few hours which is a big problem no matter how u look at it.

Unless of course, you happen to be one of the people who benefited from such actions, then perhaps, your outlook on what happened my be different. Why else would anyone defend what happened?

Imperial were ahead gear wise before. Now they are insanely ahead valor and gearwise. They also have way more of a population. Bioware continues to refuse to add incentives to the Republic side(valor/xp bonus or something). Imperials still get 200 free valor per battle for controlling Ilum.

My main has full Champ/ent gear. My alt hit 50 the day of the patch and got nothing but one earring with 6 bags. 50 sage. I am now 3-4 hit killed in almost every match. 3.5-4.5k damage and one interrupt against my main heal and I am dead. There is no point to pvp with him anymore, so I simply won't.

People will see how unfun the game is at 50 and quit.

I hope you apologists enjoy playing your own team over and over. There are huge longterm repercussions from what just happened.

That's funny cause I saw literally 0 BMs in my warzones last night. Then again I'm not looking for reasons to be angry either.

Since you're slow or not following the entire thread I've already agreed that that valor gain was much greater than in warzones. This also tells me that warzone gain is too low. Now, should we talk about all those BMs that grinded low levels to get their titles? So sad for them that other people have the rank as well.

Your whole arguement relies on the steady sting of at republic who were going to ilum TO DIE even after the taxies were shut off.

Even the unbelievable week "but they were being spawn camped" argument only works if the guy was sitting in front of this computer hitting "revive" for 12 hours straight.

And not just one guy doing that. Dozens. On every server.

Since I was a BM before the patch rolling back valor doesn't affect me at all. I'm not that concerned about the mount at 65.

The only people that broke 60 were already pretty close. While in Ilum they got no warzone commendations so other than the dailies/weeklies they wouldn't have had a lot of time to grind gear out now would they? I'm also not sure what BM bags reward on average but I'm somewhere around 1 item every 10 champion bags so far.
