1-49 Warzones are AMAZING now

I must say the 10-49 warzones was quite fun yesterday, could really feel the difference from fighting a bunch of chanpion geared level 50's. So that's one thing the patch did quite well.

Expertise is a huge mistake. Agreed. I just got to lvl 50 and end up being fodder to fully geared lvl 50s. Enjoy < lvl 50 pvping while you can, but be prepared to be mince meat when you're a new lvl 50.

Instant pops on my server Atho City all day long, longest I waited last night was after we trashed Imps a few maps in a row, waiting like 2 minutes.

I'm trying to enjoy the cookies while I can, soon hitting 49 :/ Yesterday I only played warzones, and being quite well geared and high level I was facerolling everyone without the lvl 50s. Average 8 medals per game as a tank... it would be even better with getting heal medals but heck, it is still a lot more fun than before. Unfortunately when I hit 50 I'll have a hard time against the geared 50s, we will see.

I can do the same as a level 15 in good gear .

As a matter of fact it's actually easier with the buff since it's also easier to keep your gear up-to-date in lower levels. This is getting painfull obvious with 50s twinking their alt to the teeth. The way the buff works for lower levels favors the lowbies. I am getting owned by lvl 15 dps as a lvl 40+ fully specced healer in full lvl 40 pvp gear but I won't upgrade until 50 so there is a bit of a tough zone until you hit 50 for certain classes.

Mind you, not complaining about that, just throwing it out there

This is what i like to see.. instead of crying lvl 50s we see some lvl 50s that are starting to get the problem.. They now see that this is more fun then before PVP is not fun when you don't have any challenges. There is probably a group of ppl that just want to farm lowbies all day and probably are making up for something they suck at in RL.. but most of PVPers want a challenge and a good fight.. as even as possible. In warzones now its fun even if you lose.. because we are fighting for real this time.. we have to work for it! and as someone said here.. even lvl 49s can be killed by lower levels... its still hard but not impossible as it was before with lvl 50s.

Thank you Bioware for bringing the pvp to the masses! I am tho aware that Open World PVP are not yet working as good as we want it.. and BW needs to fix it..

Its also nice to see that a lot of empire ppl has switched side and are now playing republic so the faction imbalance is fixing its self on some servers.

I have a level 50 character with 10% expertise and I haven't played it ONCE since the bracket hit. I am enjoing plaing my 2 level 20 characters and love pvp right now. But still the problem will rise when new people start hitting 50 with no gear, no expertise because they will get stomped by all those geared up 50s end of story. Get rid of expertise and the game will be much more fun.

As a relatively fresh 50, its been really tough. I have some champion gear (main hand, offhand, head) + centurion implant but that only amounts to 4.5%. Although an advantage, the rest of my gear is still fresh-to-50 so getting owned in most matches atm. Pvped for 3 hours straight last night and only won one match, and that was huttball against another republic team!


Definitely going to be hard completing daily / weekly quests in warzones in the forseeable future, Ilum is better but means that republic is gearing up slower than empire in general. Not sure there is any solution to the problem though so will just put up with it and try to get better!

Absolutely magnificent PvP last night.

Real fights with tactics and drama - where you actually got to see your opponenet rather than a blur of lightning before you were back in the med centre.

We won one game of Hutball 3:2 - and only did that because we managed to kill the ball carrier INCHES FROM THE GOAL LINE at one point. It couldn't have been closer.
