Yes it would and I don't think I'm really asking that much here. If I can pay 30 dollars for a game and have it work in an overlay that is convenient for me, I don't think it's much to ask for it to work for a different game that is twice as much with a monthly fee on top.

Do you think I am an idiot? I have done that, and I wouldn't be posting on here if I didn't. Steam only shows you as being in game while on the launcher, when the actual program launches, it quits out of it in Steam and the overlay does not work in game.

Makes me wonder though about the cash flow there.
Do games pay steam to place there games there or the reverse Steam pays the game developer.

Either way you know that has to come at a cost, but I wonder who profiting.

My guess is the companies pay Steam in the hopes it raises there exposure and ultimately there subscription count or sales of units depending on the type of game.

If that's the case could someone please explain how I can get it to work in Steam? If not then can this game get some recoding to work on Steam? This is one of the biggest turnoffs for me really when I play is that I can't chat all my friends and have to alt tab back into the game to a loading screen that REALLY shouldn't even be coming up since I am already LOADED.
Its called having a VOIP program like Skype, Mumble, Teamspeak, or Ventrilo. OR your friends could actually buy the game and play with you.

I'm pretty sure there is a process where Steam acquires the license to sell the game then Steam gets some of the profit from sells and the publisher and developer both get some of the sell. Could be wrong on that but it seems like the most logical idea of how it works.

Sorry but not everyone wants to voice you constantly, specially when you have 20+ friends on your list who you talk to regularly. Also not everyone can just afford to buy a game, and why would you all want to play the game at the same time just to talk, that's pointless.

Sounds reasonable, if you have no mic and your friends happen to be in different games then you should totally just not chat with them. *snip*
Where is your Early Access you may ask? I took it. Its that simple.

there's no need to exaggerate the amount of friends you have to prove a point.
