It would be a great day if they put in /xpoff so people like myself could enjoy the game at a stage where I can play on equal terms. An even better idea were to give me the customer the option to choose what league I'd like to play or implement a system where you move up if you are good. Just like soccer leauges hint hint

L33t players will frag this post since they get a high from trashing noobs like me. The first MMO that implements this will get many happy customers. Gear crutch players will suffer though.

Then again I'm just a noob that gonna stay in 1-49 untill I tire of SWTOR

It just shows clearly that giving people pvp gear, and an overwhelming advantage makes pvp a horrid mess. It gets unbalanced, it becomes frustrating for all but the most dedicated who essentially make their characters invincible, yet claim to be the best... there is no spirit of competition. I think the 10-49 bracket is great, the bolstering buff does its job well and you can actually have some FAIR games.

What i don't get is these "hard core" pvpers, who want this super gear, so they can what... dominate players who don't stand a chance? That isnt pvp anymore. You arent demonstrating skill anymore.. you are asleep at your keyboard, clicking 1 to 3 buttons.

Expertise just needs to go. There should be no gear advantage in pvp. Just skill advantage.

^This. Level 49 here and although I received a great many kills/objectives, I still died as much as the rest of them. I'm embarrassed to admit I got schooled by a level 34!

Yessssss! Level locking in EQ2 was awesome! Then of course SOE took it away for whatever reason...

I'm enjoying low level PvP again as well. Actually feels like PvP.

Chanell was the char most people knew, though Sheryn ended up being more active after they actually stopped nerfing engineers (temporarily).

I play "Chanel" on Zez-Kai Ell if you ever feel like exchanging pointless humor. ;p

As for the other points: Nope.
I monitored Ilum for six hours of ZKE's prime time and there wasn't any farming going on. Most folks I've seen in Ilum was 3.

I also spent nearly 6 hours in queue, though my lvl 50 republic friends report short queue times and fun matches, so it really is a faction issue there.

It had a different feel for it no doubt. For example, it felt like damage was nerfed as in comparison to the previous matches. My damage output was way down when looking at pre-patch matches and the ones yesterday. I have to wonder if they scaled the buff back then as well.

The changes to cooldowns were throwing me off so much as well. I think those all affected my game play within the WZ's in a negative way. Perhaps it will just take some time to get used to it.

Otherwise, was nice to see players of whom actually were taking damage. lol Will see in due time if I personally like the bracket or not.

I am undecided until then.

The level 50 PvP field will look a lot like teh 10-49 field right now when the majority of the player base hits 50. It will then be filled with lots of casual players and only a handful of premades/hard geared players. (similar to the effect of having a level 49 against a level 10, when 49 has all his skills and talents).

BW did say that the majority of characters are in their 20s right now, but I suspect a lot of that is alts or true-casual players, and that the average level of most regular players is in the 40s now.

I agree. I'm thinking of re-rolling every time I hit lvl 49. There is actually skill involved in PVP now. Its not skill imo if you dominate because you have the best gear.

Because destroying lowbies with lvl 49 twinks, is anything better then having lvl 50s in same bracket? Just lol...

I am actually considering leveling up a second Vanguard, simply because of how much fun I've had in PvP sub-50 bracket. For the first time, there was actually something resembling teamwork and cooperation, and dare I say it, enjoyment in the (PvP) gameplay. I could stand up to enemies in their upper 40s, while not being invincible to those below me. To me, that's exactly how multiplayer combat should be, but understand in an MMO where stats are so important that may never truly be the case.

I really do regret levelling my Commando to 50 so fast now. I more or less leveled him to 40 without more than 10 hours in PvP, and as a result, I frankly play PvP like it. While it might say I'm Lv50, I undoubtedly play like a Lv30 (but experise is starting to have a noticeable improvement, and hopefully then it will become enjoyable again).

As a side note, I'd support a Expertise-free Level 50 bracket, honestly.
