They tried to ruin pvp overnight with one update. Rollback or many will cancel.

My reason being: This game is already too imbalanced towards the Empire as it were, BEFORE 1.1 Patch. Those of us that played Republic, just accepted it, and dealt with it. Post patch, we got steamrolled as I predicted. We never stood a chance. I'm almost Valor 50, and some of my friends in-game had only just reached Valor 60 mere days before the patch released. Hearing that people achieved 60 in a few minutes/hours from Ilum PVP when so many had strived so hard. I think it is owed to THEM that a roll back is called for. Tricky situation, because you don't want to drive the Imperial players away. The Imperial players know what they did was unfair and wrong, I don't think they will cry if their Valor is rolled back. Those who abused it excessively should maybe have it rolled a bit further as punishment for exploiting the situation to the fullest instead of finishing their Daily, realizing what is happening and submit a ticket and have others do the same. We don't want this game to fail, we love this game. So make the effort to help the Dev's out instead of being immature and creating an absolute nightmare for them.
I love the fact you predicted it because so did I and everyone i played with BUT BIOWARE DIDNT!!!?

If they are incapable of shutting down a planet(let alone the servers) at the first sign of SERVER WIDE exploitation of valor farming, then I'm pretty sure they are incapable of rollbacks. Don't get your hopes up and just unsub if you're unhappy with the changes.

Forget SOPA/PIPA... Get a bill passed to unshiste this game.

How far do you roll it back?

Every time there's a problem some people are exploiting, do we roll it back?

There are still people sitting on 20 million + credits from when slicing was majorly over powered.

Do we roll back to the start of the game to correct this?

Every time you roll back, you piss alot of players off. More you piss off, more leave, and the shorter life span of the game.
That's conjecture on your part. I don't rememer a lot of people getting angry in any other MMO (WoW, Vanguard, Aion, among others) when those games were rolled back. And roll backs weren't exactly uncommon, either.

To properly fix the problem, you roll the servers back to the last state before the patch went live, which is when the exploits/griefing began.

You cannot roll back every exploit, because it is not always possible to pinpoint when those exploits started, and sometimes simply too much time has passed to implement a roll back. In this case, the devs knew the moment tye exploits/griefing started (as soon as the servers came up) and they knew the issue causing it within the first few hours of the day yesterday. They failed to act decisively.
