Wait another 3,000,000 years for the game to finally load the textures onto your screen.

I have reverse problem - my textures load ridiculously fast, but this creates rapid heat spiking I don't think is healthy to see.

CAUTION: DO NOT LOAD SWTOR UNLESS YOU HAVE AFTER-MARKET COOLING INSTALLED!!

Mines are up too. I deeply sympathize with those that have issues.

Personally i just disabled the AA and fps went back to normal. I checked my ini file and bumped the anisotropic filtering from 16x to 4x.

I can confirm that this worked for me aswell. Fps is back to how it was before this "awesome - dooh" patch ;>

The AA feature isnt even implanted yet and still people are having this much trouble with their graphics....GJ BW! XD

thanks for the awesome tip
If you see me, that means i can see you too.

AA is in the game, easy way to test is to zoom in on your char and look at any curved surface, without AA on it would be littered with jagged edges, turning it on, reduces thos to almost none.

Am I the only one that can't see the landscape once I finally get logged in?

I am truly grateful for this thread because this tip worked wonders for me.

I hope that BioWare uses this to determine what exactly is changing that is causing problems for so many people. Whatever code this fix alters should be identified and taken into account in future patches.
