Happy player here.

Level 36 Sorcerer, taking my time, enjoying the story and the scenery.

As for the issues, there is nothing going on that is outside the norm for a major MMO launch. One thing that has impressed me is how awesome the communication has been from Bioware.

I'm also impressed with the number of bug fixes and a content patch in the first month.

There are some issues that need to be addressed, but seeing how things have been handled so far, I am not worried the polish will get there in due time.

I hope so... Because I actually want the game to succeed more than I thought I would before launch It's up to Bioware, and I really hope they measure up!

Let's say there are 1-2 million subscribers, and furthermore, that only 1% are unhappy. That's still 10-20K people. Let's say that 10% of those post to vent their frustrations. That's 1-2K. If each made their own thread, we'd be talking around 50 pages. Let's say that only 50 threads are made, and the respond to only one, once. That's still 20-40 replies on each thread.

It's hard to know from an outside viewpoint just how happy or unhappy a community is by looking at the forums, because it tends to magnify the extremes. Only time will tell, and only BW/EA will know their subscription numbers.

I for one am quite satisfied with the game.

None of this nonsense has effected my personal game experience in any way. I have been happily enjoying the story of my first character while doing some flashpoints.

I really don't see what the hubbub is about.

I accept that it may take a while to fix. But that doesn't mean I'm "fine with it." As it stands, pvp is broken and unplayable for me.

My definition of "Open World PvP" in the truest sense would be what happens when you are levelling, you stumble across people and spontaneously fight because they are the opposite faction to you, not "lets all go to this specific area where we have been told to go to so we can do some completely random PvP".
While you have a point, that's another issue altogether. At the end of the day, world pvp should not require a "population cap" in order to function properly. The fact that this is the case just shows that Bioware didn't do its research during the development phase... which is sad, since they have the team from Mythic behind them.

The fact that it's restricted to a specific area is, as I said, another matter altogether. I think it's sad that that's the current state world pvp is in (especially since it makes pvp servers almost irrelevant), but it's something that won't be changed because BW would have to rebuild the game from the ground-up.

I had a 400 Synthweaver and dropped it to roll Biochem, I got 400 Biochem 2 days before they changed it and I am over the moon they nerfed it. It was widely know that Biochem was so retardedly overpowered that it was virtually mandatory for anyone who was even remotely serious about PvP and to some extent raiding. It needed nerfing badly and I wholeheartedly disagree with your statement.
As I've said a dozen times before, the problem isn't that Biochem is "overpowered." It's that the other crafting skills are worthless. You didn't drop 400 Synthweaving because Biochem was "required" for raiding or any of that garbage, you dropped 400 Synthweaving because it doesn't offer any perks or schematics that aren't overshadowed within the first week of raiding/dailies at level 50.

And even if Biochem were overpowered (and this is a very big "if"), the problem would be in the reusable adrenals, not the medpacs.

So yes, unnecessary.

I'm really enjoying this game, grabbing datacrons boosting attributes (like the fade in dao).

Combats fun, Just got AntiAliasing back on in game smoothed out environments charactors everything , looks really good.
Flashpoints are fun Co-Opping/groups
heroics
Tons of things todo includeing Gearing up companions.
Hunt Datacrons for bonus attributes
Craft/companion missions
Space Missions may seem simple but they are really fun in a Retro way.
Working on companion relations
The list goes on & on.Cant name all the cool things going on in this game.
The Planets are all awsome.
Best Scifi MMO/Co-OP/RpG/Solo game around.

I Chose Healing Jedi Consulor,My 1st play through[I never liked playing monks or healers but In Swtor its been fun) , taking my time 1st playthrough as patches come in , Like Anti-Ailiasing,New Content, Fixes.

I'm looking forward to leveling 7 more charactors, because I picked my least favorite class to play through on my 1st run and I'm completly suprise how fun it is.

looking forward to Bounty Hunter on the other side next.
After that Flip back to Republic And try smuggler.,ect...

I am loving the game. I also would like to see the population go down a bit on the RP server I play on. A LOT of people joined this RP PvP server to troll and there isn't a lot of RP'ing going on which is my one complaint. Other than that, I have been playing this like a Single Player RPG and it's been a blast!
