Same for me, can't even get the launcher to work. But when I do and the rest is haywire I'll look to this perhaps.

Same boat here. Would love to see a real fix for those of us downloading corrupted files.

Idk what the reasoning is for behind what you did and why it worked, but it worked! It even fixed issues I was having before the update

This didn't work for me, I was at 60-61 fps and NEVER dropped below in open world/WZ, and maybe a tiny bit in the republic fleet and I was also forcing AA via the .ini settings prior to the patch

Now if i move, attack, move the camera around, my FPS drops to 35-40ish.

This game is so frustrating and poorly optimized, I've NEVER had this many problems with a game...

i5 2500k OC to 4.5

I would also suggest that if you are having problems with AA and currently OC your CPU or GPU outside of factory shipped specs, back those overclocks out and try enabling AA again.

I had my i7 2600K CPU OC'd to 4.4 Ghz and had all kinds of nasty graphical artifacts, freezing, hanging, crashing, etc. only when AA was enabled. Disabled it would run fine. I backed out my CPU overclock back to stock and AA worked for 2 hours with no problems.

Now if they could just get rid of the new flickering issue. . . *sigh*

Does this fix the major FPS drops in high load areas (pvp / fleet, that were apparent in a bunch of peoples systems before 1.1?) Or just the fps issues people have had after 1.1 patch?
