That from an article on EA in MarketWatch.

I might get flamed for this, mind you it doesnt bother me nearly enough to ragequit the game (yet) ... but of all MMO releases I have been a part of (thats about 5-6 since CoH) this is by far the buggiest and most unfinished MMO release Ive ever come across. Yes ... that does include the infamous WoW.

Luckily, most are graphical glitches which up until last night (when I finished my Consular class story and all my Companions were in their undies during my crowning moment). There have been other more "are you *********** kidding me!" moments but /shrug ... its not game breaking for me (yet). It is sad though, that after 1 1/2 years worth of delays, and so much development time, the game is still in this state.

posting to give you the attention you so desperately need.

i thought those of you who had no problems and love the game were the majority while the rest of us were the "vocal minority". pick one plz.
I play wow too. You jealous of my anime hair and ADD?

People tend to think their own point of view is the majority. At least the OP is questioning that.

Most players don't post. They don't post that they're happy, and they don't post that they're canceling.

The majority of players who continue their subscriptions and play are at least moderately pleased with the game.

The majority of players who cancel are not pleased.

Even if the game shrinks to 2 servers and goes free to play, the majority of players will like the game.

Hope that helps.

And corrupted blood, though a bug, was more of a living world interaction than this game provides.

I keep seeing people saying that games like Warhammer, Aion, and Age of Conan were less buggy at launch and I can't believe how tiny and/or selective some people's memories are. The only game I can honestly say might be on par with this one at launch is Rift but I will say this in regards to that - Rift had a ton of broken quests and buggy bosses at launch - I've encounted all of 1 bugged quest and have yet to have a boss just dissappear, not drop loot, go into an endless evade, or otherwise do something completely unexpected. That's pretty impressive IMO for an entire game's worth of content from 1 to cap to be that polished and I can't say I've ever seen it in any other MMO (DCUO came close but only because there was so little content at launch I believe).
Rift was good, COH was very smooth from what i remember. But yeah compared to Warhammer, Age of Conan or WoW this is a very good launch,
The formula 'two plus two equals five' is not without its attractions

Teladis, just unsub and go back to WoW then, you won't be missed. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

The negative posts get more attention. It's about taking a very minor issue and blowing it way out of proportion. And then jumping on to the next bandwagon. I really feel it's WoW players who jumped ship to join a game they overhyped in their minds.

Nope, you're not a minority at all.

Unfortunately the actual vocal minority seems determined to complain about a game they're supposedly not even playing anymore, thinking that we value their poorly formed opinions. Most of us are just skipping through the complaining threads and reading the interesting stuff.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
