Wasted potential everywhere you look and if you don't agree....wow you have low standards in games, that's about all there is to say.
That all may be blatantly obvious to anyone with half a brain, but to anyone with MORE than half a brain the only blatantly obvious thing is that no game has a $200 million dollar budget.

Your not the minority, the fporum posters are a small fraction of the real subs so you may be the minority here on the forums but as for customers theres plenty playing the game and enjoying it.

No my friend it is you I feel sorry for.

Using unverified information.
Your preening attitude.
Your relatively unrealistic idea of how a launched MMO should be.

You seem to me the exact embodiment of everything that has gone wrong with this genre of the gaming industry, at least from the consumer side, and yet you're oblivious to it.

But thank you for the laugh all the same.

not only does this forum make me feel bad about actually enjoying the game, it's even starting to make me feel bad for never having played WoW... that should be my cue to take a forum break for at least a week because it's baaaaad

You cant expect perfection in any MMO that was just released. I played WOW at launch. It had bugs too. Anyone remember the corrupted blood incident? So I ask this. Am I in the minority or is everyone that likes the game too busy playing and leaving the forums filled with people that whether genuinely unsubbed or are just trolling?

Is there something wrong with me that I genuinely love this game?

I can't imagine even 1.1 leading people to unsubscribe unless they just wanted to play for a month.

You're not alone! Me, my bf, and all of our friends are playing this game without issue, and loving it as well.

I think a lot of people with positive opinions are 1. Too busy enjoying the game 2. Not posting it on the forums as you get labeled as a "Biodrone" and attacked for it.

Wait...you mean...you aren't demanding something from Bioware, you don't want attention brought to YOUR issue, and you made a post to say you actually LIKE the game?!

Is that even allowed on these forums?

In all seriousness, I'm right there with you Love the game, see the problems, I agree with MOST of the issues, I dislike the problems, but I also understand this isn't McDonald's. Issues take time, programming takes forever. I'll give Bioware time.

No OP, you are in the majority. The minority are these complainers that feel the need to flood the forums with their crys while the majority play the game happily and don't need to create threads. The silent far outnumber the intolerable quitters.

This is how most people should react, but sadly not the case. It's come to be that the first month, for most games, makes or breaks the game. Look at FFXIV for a very good example of this, except I still actually play it. I like it despite the flaws, and they're rewriting the whole thing too.

One of the facts of human nature is that people who are content with things as they are rarely feel much of a need to go out and shout it from the rooftops. Conversely, people who are pissed off love to talk about it.

The ease of communication on the internet regularly distills these facts into a seething stew of insanity and Lovecraftian horror that would make Nyarlathotep smile.

We call these distillations "message boards".

The other side you have the opposite of fanboys who trash the game whenever possible, the others also like the game, but do not play it because the issues are not fixed.

Well technically you can have more types than that, but many people see it in black or white. Someone who likes it SHOULD be critical of bugs and problems and not shrug them off, that just invites the company to not care when a REAL issue comes up.

I play, I.... maybe like it, my vote is still withheld for the moment. But also recognize issues as being there and needing to be fixed.
You need to look harder.

I'm no fanboy. I'm a fan of MMOs I've been playing them long enough. I like Starwars and most Bioware games hold my attention for a little bit. But by no means to swear fealty to them.

For SWTOR I keep an optimistic viewpoint. I won't say this game is a GREAT game and there's nothing wrong with it. I say this is a decent game and has room for improvement. Which we may or may not see in the coming months. If we do not see it or something else cataches my attention in the mean time I will leave the game behind as well, but having played 30+ MMOs having been in this genre for nearly 2 decades I know what to expect from an MMO.

I know they are never perfection at launch, I know it takes a good 6 months to get them up to speed, I know that the launched client is just a foundation, and I know it's never a finished product. As launches go SWTOR has been better than most worse than a few.

So there are more than two variants. Yes fanboys cause as much damage and the constant complainers do. But dont forget there are actually people out there who just play for enjoyment and have a bit of something called patience that helps them bide their time.

Having said all of that. I haven't encountered any game breaking bugs in this game myself. I have encountered many annoyances that are fleeting but realize they can very well be ironed out in good time. Which is what many of you should be doing, you payed money for this game, you owe it to yourself to at least give it a bit more of a chance than a month to sway your interest. But that's up to you.
