Empire is killing turrets on Fatman over and over, and turrets spawn instantly and they keep killing it.

I will be so upset if they let people cheese their way to Battlemaster after I have been working on my valor for weeks.

So many people have have such absurdly irrational expectations. What was the expectation exactly? That this game would be released with the polish of a 7 year old game?

I have betad and played pretty much every MMO since UO. This has been easily the best release ever. There is ZERO comparison. There have been no unintended outages or serious server crashes.

You guys need to chill.

For all the whiners on the forums: Is this your first MMO? Or not first MMO, but the first time you play an MMO at release? No MMO has ever been ready for endgame within a month. Just because you come from an MMO which has been "alive" for several years, and everything works perfect, you can't expect a game to work perfect when it releases.

BioWare has so many new innovations in this game, instead of whining about the PVP concept (which is pretty much the same in all MMOs) try to mix it up a bit.

2nd best release probably after Rift but nobody cares about rift. Game is awesome but this patch screwed up PvP majorily. They killed pvp endgame and if this turret stuff is not fixed it ruined pvp for everyone who grinded for battlemaster. Basically this patch brought about worst case scenario for BW as people who thought this game was spectacular are even thinking about unsubbing.

Lets keep in mind here, they banned a whole lot full of Slicers (remember them) on that planet for...what was it now....oh yeah "Exploiting" the game. Now, not sure if Valor Farming an inexhaustable instantly respawning resources falls into that catagory...but with no slicers to ban and the 'hammer needing people to smack...I'd say those who partake in this likely easly traced activity will be feeling the hammers smack pretty soon.

Thing is it's completely within the game rules. If it wasn't, the turrets wouldnt be killable. Theres nothing against the ToS going on here...its BW's own oversight and players are taking advantage of the mechanics that they created

Well, you have to write that this will force Bioware to re-do their PvP over the next patches. They need to replace the Valor system with something better, and having Imperial players at Elite Warlord for just afking at illum over the next few days will tell them that the patch was a huge mistake.
May the farce be with you

Regardless of whether it's in the game rules, only tools exploit. That's exactly what you are advocating, exploitation of the existing rule set. There is no doubt in my mind that these exploiters know they are breaking the system and should therefore be punished. Although banning seems like overkill it is that such exploitation can only be corrected by closure and rollback. There should be no in game benefit for unemployment, lack of social interaction, or youth. Grinding is never fun but at least is fair.

Death to the exploiters.
