Incoming 50 brackets, Reset all Valor and PVP?

err i dont even pvp that much and i find this idea really selfish and dumb.

selfish because you are just thinking about yourself and you are doing a good job covering that up by saying you are worried about "health" of the mmo.
right... you just dont want to jump into pvp fresh from 50 and get farmed. your argument is that it should be based around skill? when has mmo ever been about purely skill? gear comes through skill AND/OR time. if it is only based on skill, whats the point of having epic gear?

dumb because come on... this idea would never work. anytime a mmo decides to reset anything (except BETA because its common sense that its gonna reset), the whole community goes crazy. why? because they spent their precious TIME on their characters. you know... time... something you cant get back. call me a productive freak but wasting time is one of my pet peeves.

this is like saying, oh hey you spent 4 years in college studying for your major? sorry but we are gonna reset everything so you will have to start from 0 hours. i know you spent hours and hours of studying for that degree but oh well. some freshman didnt want to compete in a job market in 4 years cause he thinks its gonna be too hard for him. so we can make it fair for everybody.

lets say in your happy little world that revolves around you that bioware decided to do this. almost all the pvpers would quit and go play something else. this will leave some hardcore players to play even harder to get that number 1 spot. now, it seems like you dont play much so you wont have that much pvp gear in 50 bracket. do you know what that would mean? you getting steam rolled through premades filled with hardcore players. what are you gonna do then? start a thread about making premades illegal?

No, my main reason is it wouldnt accomplish anything. The people that are fully geared have been for awhile now, and in about a week or so they would be fully geared again.

They put the time into the game and should be rewarded. Its no different then having a faster fishing boat and hitting the good spots first. Im never for stuff like this as I have been on the recieving end of being back pedaled, it sucks.

OP, don't be a scrub.

PvP and buy the PvP gear. The weapons have expertise on it. And I will give you a little hint. The expertise item mod can be removed and re-socketed. Anyone can hit ~100 expertise at level 46 - which all 9 members of our PvP team did, if they play any PvP at all while leveling.

If you can't take the time and effort to be good at your hobby, that's fine. But others do, and leave them alone.

You cant reset something ppl already "earned" but that doesnt make it suck any less for the "new" 50s who will be up and comming.

Same ppl that are getting thrashed now at lower lvls will come around with no pvp gear and be free kills for fully pvp geared ppl. Because it was always about the pvp gear and there will be alot of battlemasters the time they reach 50.

The solo's will mostly be farmed by the teams aswell.

There is no easy solution to this mess, heck, I dont even see a way to fix it at all.

BTW you join pvp games just cause you dont have gear dosent mean your team wont have gear you might get rolled on but the rest of your team could win the game inturn you will get the commendations/wins/weekly/daily done and then you 2 can have gear as easy as that ( so long as your lucky


FYI there isent alot of people with FULL BM gear there is alot with champ gear

Bolster is the best idea in any PVP game ive played, I level faster than my friends and like to still be able to pvp with them which this game provides.

I would LOVE to see the looks on those no life players. Valor 61 and have no real life whatsoever, have no more valor or gear, that would be hilarious. Oh wait, I'm valor 61 But still....
