Incoming 50 brackets, Reset all Valor and PVP?

Yeah, gonna get my *** flamed off for this, but contemplate this for a moment..

How about we just reset everything after fixing the current hand of exploits? PvP gear wise

However it happened, no lifing, dedication, or free time. There are too many 50`s running around with full PvP gear.

Hats off to them.

BUT, most of that gear was farmed on lowbies, said easy-mode.

The games been out almost a month if I'm not mistaken, yet people are rocking Battlemaster gear... end game gear, fighting against players who in every other game, are bracketed in PvP. The whole PvP playerbase gear loadouts are skewed, and the 50s who enjoyed the story? gonna get thrown in with full PvP geared 50s..
Lowbies? been farmed for a month, generally PvP for them is mediocre at best, otherwise gruelling with a few exceptions.

So as I said before, reset Valor, and PvP gear entirely, implement the following brackets

10-15
16-20
21-25
26-30
31-35
36-40
41-45
46-49
50-50

Now you gain valor, fighting on a much fairer playing field. Balancing issues become far more apparent/noticable. Everyone you face, can be beaten with PLAYER skill, no more 40-50 vs -20s, no more character skill victories (aka lvl 50 skills vs 20s, no comparison in CC,skill rotations) etc. no more being chased down by someone twice my level for a easy kill. no more hate towards 50s or lowbies for winning/losing the match.

Ideas on how to compensate said geared players? idk
But id value the health of the games majority over minority
I`m currently 39, and id stand to lose quite a bit from this too, but i believe its a sacrifice thats worth it.

Yea, I only got time off from work to play with my mates etc since I like to keep up with everyone else, but I guess we can just reset all of it because it would benefit people who arent as hardcore as me.

Definately not, why would you punish people that have invested alot more time and effort into this game simply because you want casual players to have an easier time?

This would kill PvP. Everyone who has been 50 and PvPing for a while are the main playerbase that PvPs. You do this, they all quit.

A) Most PvP gear was not obtained farming lower levels, it was obtained from Ilum dailies/weeklies.

B) With brackets that tight, very few people would ever PvP. Or they'd spend hours waiting for a queue to pop.

There's no reason to reset valor. People worked hard to get it and the fact that you opt to call them "no lifers" is insulting and rude.

So everyone who plays after said 50s gets beaten into the floor, would they quit?

Uh... hell no.

I just got 50 about a week ago and "most" of my gear was not farmed on lowbies. I had 1000/1000 and 1 bag saved before I was 50, bought 5 more bags with that, did the Ilum weekly and dailes, then did the warzone weekly (9) and about 4 days worth of dailys (12), so I really only got about 7 (8 if you count the one I bougt with extra comms) bags from warzones at 50 and most of my bags from level 50 content or warzones pre-50. If they took away my gear because some people don't want to put in any work besides farming warzones against 1-49 players, that would probably be the one thing that would make me cancel my sub. In fact, a good chunk of my champ gear was technically farmed while pre-50 playing against level 50's.

Just because someone was able to farm to BM gear due to the nature of the system, that's not grounds for putting them back at square one. You take away things in the game that people have put time into (whether easy or difficult) and lots of players will quit.

The suggestion is completely asinine anyway and will never happen. And for the record, so would half the republic. The suggested brackets alone would result in pvp simply becoming non-existent pre 50 due to queues.

seriously ure ridiculous.

its not like every one got lucky and got his tokens on low ranks. for example i got my gear rly rly late after opening bags ober and over.

this will never happen.

ok ure right, that the bolster system was or is fail but they will never resett the valor gained by now.

Unfortunately that seems to be the default excuse a lot of people use when someone else does something better or faster than them, its a sad world we live in these days.
