It's really not that hard to stand on the door... if a team is coordinated enough to set up a stealth plant, and presumably a diversionary push to the other side so that they can pull it off, then the enemy team should be coordinated enough to have people defending the doors. Whether that means a BH spamming stealth scan or simply putting someone on top of the door, possibly even randomly AOEing like Force Storm... it doesn't matter. It's not that hard to defend against really.

So much for equal chances.
umm there is no advantage. you know the skill is in the game, you know to protect doors, if you are close to the objective you are guarding this is a non issue. have never had an op/smug + 1 ever cap a door im guarding, this is more of a l2p issue. most of you tards dont even see some one out of stealth capping a flag.

A reply from a GM is not a reply from Bioware. You coulod get three different replies on the same question in nearly every MMO, depending on the GM, the color of his socks and the weather on the moon.

Is it an exploit? Maybe, I wouldn't start a witchhunt on it.

Is it working as intented? Surely not, as it drastically decreases the reaction frame the defending team has to detect a bombing placement being made and offers a vast, not comparable advantage.

You have to be out of stealth and out of combat with two people to use it. No one can just sneak to the door and plant without popping up first. Good against bad teams, that's for sure.

2 stealthers stealth up, guy hits the door and immediately gets group stealthed. yeah that's real hard to imagine how someone might miss that.

Is it a bannable offense? guess not.

Does it clearly go against the grain of what players want/know/expect from an mmo? most definitely.

As an operative, i want and expect this to be nerfed.

It deliberately avoids intentional game mechanics - such as cap-indicators, and the ability to target someone in order to interrupt them.

I would dearly love to see a response from a bioware dev - CS rep only can say so much.

BTW lol @ GMs on patrol. Hey GMs, say hi to the dozen security chest bots on Ilum and Correlia for me, thx.
It's an exploit where stealthed players when stealthed is then hit by the scoundrels team stealth ability are then able to plant the bomb while stealthed they do not unstealth when planting. Imo it should be considered an exploit

Whats stopping you from AoEing the doors? You guys seem quick enough to do so even on single targets so why not do it to protect your doors from a smuggled ninjaplant team?

Some people will cry about anything...
