This game badly needs mods and macros.

Actually, pretty much every level-appropriate end game boss fight in WoW requires them now, which is why I left. The game's fight mechanics have devolved into hairbrained fire drills designed to beat cheats like DBM.

While your raid leader who does have DBM calls out "Ok, in 10 seconds take 5 steps to the left!" or "5 seconds till <boss ability>, everyone stack!"

Can i ask what is really the differnce between DBM warning than a visual warning that this game has and if you say you have to watch the screen im gonna say BS there both the same its just smart on blizz's dev cause you know why they dont have to waste time making visuals this idea that add-ons make the game easier is just stupid BS.

what makes the game easier is devs making the game easier what you think blizz cant make there game harder think cata BOT,BWD and al'akir which all of at the start and pretty much most of was unpuggable even the dungeons were pretty hard until the masses started crying omg its to hard so they nerfed the hell out of them so saying that add-ons make the game easier its the community that makes the game easier so stop blaming the tools blame the people who cant use the tools.

So WoW was the only MMO you played? Because the ones I played (LotRO, RIFT, EVE, ST:O, UO, WAR) only allowed a very limited modification to the game, if they allowed it at all.

I sorely underestimated just how poor the UI would turn out. It is so uncustomizable it isn't funny. Health bars, buffs, debuffs, and the power bar are all WAY too small. You can't move or resize anything, I HATE having the chat box up the top.

Not having a damage meter or even a freaking combat log is ridiculous. Why shouldn't we even know how much damage we're doing? I want to know what the best rotation is for my character and I have absolutely no way of working that out.

Macros are a staple in every MMO, how can you just not have them? There's a nice focus target but it's practically useless without focus macros.

These should be top priority for the next patch.

All DBM is, is an "idiot light." "Hey, you're in the fire." "Yeah, he's channeling Shatter in case you didn't see that -- run away."

Which addons do this? I can't think of any in WoW that do that. Perhaps in other games?

please tell me how that is differnt than a pattern on the ground that gives you plenty of time to move out of and the only way you can get hit by is if your just facerolling hard which in that case your probably gonna get hit by if you had DBM so please give a difference.
