Nothing in this game is UP lol.
The only thing that needs a tone down are the consumables.

So the Sorc/Sage should have about the same damage output, better CC, better tools for survival, and better tools to support the rest of the team than Snipers?

Note that I'm citing numbers here and the numbers say Sage > Sniper.
Nerf not, lest ye be nerfed.

It must be coincidence that warzones are literally full of Sorcerers and, to a lesser extent, Sages.

Very good damage, with a mixed template you don't even have cooldown on Lightning, you can proc a lightning that ticks 2x fast, dots, CC, speed buffs, a shield (a shield with pretty much no cooldown at all), AoE, mobility and let's not forget you pretty much cannot run out of force in a pvp scenario...

Yeah, at least you guys are wearing light armor lol.

My g/f plays a sorcerer, she was never a hardcore PvPer in any other game we played before (she dd PvP with me every now and then) and in this game, she is absolutely deadly.

I can understand you don't want your class to get nerfed and if that's the reason behind these threads well, I see what you're trying to do and that's fine.. just as long as you don't actually believe sorc is not OP or even underpowered.

Let's all be serious here, casters in any other game are pretty much oneshottable if they have high damage spells or heals.. there's no other game where a sorcerer can unleash hell AND survive direct attacks.

People complaining about high Sorc/Sage DPS/Heal scores in Warzones need to realise:

This only happens when the opposing team is rubbish.

If you play against competent people, they will just nuke the hell out of the sorc/sage on sight. They will not be getting any massive scores on healing or DPS.

As people get used to the classes and realise that killing the healer is a basic prerequisite of not failing, this putative "imbalance" will be resolved.

Learn how the sage dps's first.
We dps using dots and force in balance (which is another DOT).
Force armor and force in balance are how they get the heal stats.
Yes we have better CC, I don't know the OP/Scoundrel's defensive options but as dps spec you must run away because you are incredibly squishy. We support the team (if you want dps) by dots and shields.

If thats OP, then every class is also OP because the dps sage/sorc is a support/CC type of DPS. Dots and snares.

I've seen how Sages do damage, it's through that ungodly pebble spam that roughly matches the average output of a sniper but also includes a snare that makes it more difficult to break line of sight or get close enough to use debilitate. So you laid down a couple of DoTs before you commenced pelting me to death with the intermittent self-heal, even if it's not speced. Thats the same damage, more CC, and heals which a sniper has 0 access to.

Something is wrong here, either with sages or with Snipers.
Nerf not, lest ye be nerfed.

Always the same song. Give sorc/sages a damage reduction bubble every 2 mins like other classes and we'll se if you're still perfect team players like you try to make us believe.

Snipers are the anti-healer/tank.
Operatives fall under the same catergory.
They are the only class that actually makes me either heal myself or run away.
Now I'm not so versed in gunslinger, but from my guildies who play gunslinger they say its perfectly fine.
And again with dps sage/sorc, you don't ever use your heals. You heal based on stims, force in balance and your force armor. You will top damage but you'll only get good healing if the team your versing is just absolute garbage.

I'm sure that everyone who plays a Sorc thinks they are UP.

People always do, it's everyone else that is OP.
