Loading screens are exceptionally slow. I know what you mean about wanting to stay on planet
Help me, Bio-Ware Support; you're my only hope.

Why oh why would you have 24 gigs of ram and not a faster hard drive. Your computer can only go as fast as the slowest component.

the only load time that i dread is the alderaan one but that only takes about 30 seconds and thats the longest for me so i believe it is more of a hardware and latency issue than a BW issue.

I dont find loading to be problematic. Perhaps your ISP hasnt been feeding the gerbils.

24 gigs of ram, I think i nearly sharted myself laughing

You need an SSD bro, that's how you improve load times. Not memory lmao.

My worst load times are for alderaan (~35 secs). I think this needs to be optimised over hte course of the games lifetime but I'm not that bothered, alt+tab is your friend, skim a news article for 20 secs and alt tab back and gg you're in.

meh I've never had a loading screen take more than 30 seconds... most are much much faster than that... loading onto my ship is so quick I can't even read the tooltip on the load screen and I don't even have the game on an SSD

Running windows 7 32bit? Or even Windows home premium 64bit you are limited to 16 gig

You might want to look at that then. I have a 10,000 rpm drive and load times are maybe 20 seconds max. If I had to sit for a minute everytime I left a planet Id be irate.

All my load times are roughly 15-20secs top with the exception of the leaving warzone loadscreen which is like a minute.

Which I find very strange considering I have a decent rig and have not experienced any of the other graphical issues/lag issues/delay issues etc that other players have been stating.

Im no expert but just seems strange to me that my rig would let me down for just one particular loading screen and not the others.
