You're just shooting yourself if you buy anything from anywhere other than newegg or the likes. Avoid retail stores like the plague. Everyone who says "build your own" from parts is 100% correct.

If you can't do it, I bet you have a friend who can.

Funny, i just purchased this card for about $170 on newegg. Good deal, and it runs pretty good.

I recommend that card, and a new CPU.

I was using motherboard onboard sound (HD audio device) and recently realised every time I crashed it seemed to be sound related. In places the game would start to chug after a while of questing. I replaced my onboard sound with a proper sound card (Asus Xonar DG that only cost me £20 and I no longer crash and I also do not get any fps loss anywhere. It's a simple thing to try at first to see if it helps. Just noticed you're using a laptop. You can get a usb sound card device for laptops for literally a couple of quid off of Ebay that might help to take the strain.

No no, the current computer I am playin on is a desktop because my laptop only has a single core and this requires a double core so it wouldn't work on my laptop.

Yeah I found a lot of items on Newegg and Amazon that should do the trick if I do decide to build up from scratch.

I'm not sure if it's my sound that is making me ose FPS, the sound is fine in the game. Just a slow experience for me. I think it is my graphis card like everybody else is saying because this thing is pretty old. I could try out a new sound card if it is that cheap, won't hurt I suppose.

Don't bother only upgrading the video card because the processor and RAM are gonna bottleneck that **** hard. IMO get like 400-500 dollars and upgrade your motherboard, RAM, processor, and video card.
