So I should just start off with a new Graphics card? I posted the Motherboard stuff so can I use the 550Ti or is that too much? If it is too much should I get the 460x (Or whatever)?

I really would like to know the actual problem people are having i have a desktop with an 1100T @ 3.84 ghz 16gb ram and and runs perfect obv. but then i have laptop i use at work that can hardly run starcraft II at lowest settings, but has no problems with SW:TOR. Tt has an i7 (not the extreme) but terrible GPU and the CPU is @ like 1.6 or 1.8 ghz. Im really thinking it just needs the 4-6 core CPU's to run smooth.

Im using the 550 Ti runs smooth for me so if that doesen't help you out then it's your CPU, but regardless you will see increased performance from that card.

Is there a make or model on the comp? Like with dell its a lattitude 8700... is it a lenovo something somenumber?

Still moot as you dont have any reall room to upgrade. it wont take a higher core CPU, or newer ram. Throwing money down a drain really.

It doesn't say anything other than Lenovo for my Motherboard. For my CPU its just Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7200 @2.53GHz (I have absolutely no idea.. All I see is numbers haha.. Why can't any of this be simple like cars. -.-).

I guess at this point from all these things you guys are throwing out, I can't upgrade my comp because it's maxed and I just need to build a whole new thing(?) So my only question would be now.. Can I run the graphics card I found or not?

Factory comps are a pain for sure, take this advice and get the card, if that doesen't satisfy you then rebuild! Don't dump money into a dated system, at least with the card you will be able to use in your new system so it's a decent investment.

If you decide to upgrade the CPU then you will need to rebuild, your current motherboard will not hold a high end proccessor, DDR2 ram is dated and you will need DDR3 ram. The disc drive, hard drive, power supply, and fans can probably be salvaged for the new build.

My best advice is if your getting a desktop don't go to bestbuy find a local computer store that can make you a custom build for what you need, it will be cheaper and better, and easier to upgrade down the road. Laptops are still cheaper to go factory.

Yeah I was gonna make a desktop, I like my laptop and it works fine, it just won't play this. -.- I wasn't going to go to any retail stores for a desktop, I was going to search for a local computer store and if not, I would just see if I could find stuff online.
