So whatever, come at me bro
1) Doing something to Benefit Group, is not Selfish.

2) Doing something to Benefit yourself ONLY, over a Group, is Selfish.

3) In this Game, in a Raid environment, only PLAYERS benefit the group.

4) Companions DO NOT Benefit the group in a Raid Environment.

5) By taking something that benefits your Companion, wheras it could have benefited for a player, you are not benefiting the group. Now go back to point (2).

Notice we are speaking relative to a Raid Environment, whereas Companions have absolutely NO use. So you are taking a useful item from someone else that can help the group, and giving it to yourself in a way that will never benefit the group.

I'll try to even offer you a real life example. You and a random person are lost in the woods. You both place the same effort to hunt for food, and you two got a small bird. Rather than sharing that food to benefit the both of you, you ate the entire thing (even though you were Full from eating just half), only caring about yourself and just because you can do it.

O.o
Companions can't come on flashpoints, at least not after the esseles. His companion doesn't get a roll because his companion didn't help. And seriously? You're really trying to claim AN NPC should get priority over a player? Remind me never to group with you.

@OP: As much as I despise putting NPC's before players, this was pretty much your fault. If joining a PUG can't be avoided then at least work out rolling rules before you kill the boss.
Han shot first.

Oh yeah, let's bring "ethics" into the picture. If people don't agree with you they're bad people with no morals. That's top notch debate skills right there.

It's not a matter of precedent. It's a matter of common courtesy. If I Need roll for myself, and you Need roll for your companion...you're damn straight I'm going to be pissed off. By doing so, you're saying that your companion is every bit as important to the server as my main.

Companions don't benefit anyone but yourself. Hence why it's selfish. I'd be willing to bet that a number of you doing this are also some of the ones complaining about PvP being unbalanced, or never being able to find a healer for a group. What's my motivation to heal or tank for you, if I know you're just going to ninja any of my gear that drops?

Thanks for proving my point, in relation to the type of person you are.

And I'm not here to try to convince you, because as it appears, there was no hope in reasoning with you.

But at least others can clearly see your attitude, and can judge you for themselves.

Tell me that you're 12 years old or younger. Give me some reason to understand why you're looking at this in such a selfish and immature fashion, even if you're making up your age.
