If your biggest peeve with the system is: "Because then people would ask X" then I honestly don't know what to say?
i like to think i can make friends on the forums too. i like to think you and i are friends, and if i ran across you in the world you would assist me with a mission to kill x number of womp rats. that or youll just keep running by.
I play wow too. You jealous of my anime hair and ADD?

I need some clarification.

The feature that you personally do not like is the number one cause of your last MMO's failure.
Innovation is bad, except when its good.

Sure but when that purple item drops I'm going to roll need on it for my companion!

Awesome point! Sometimes it's easy to forgot how emotionally attached we can become to these games and it explains all the emotionally charged anecdotes and fallacies.

If you do something enough times and you get the same result time after time, you begin to have a large enough sample data to see a pattern. My entire gearset is mainly from LFG from wrath and cata so to say I've run a few dungeons is an understatement. My personal experience happens to coincide with 4 new people every time I run so I also know on top of the large amount of sample data that I personally have gained that at least 4 people have shared that experience.

I guess Gallop polls and Exit polls are a fallacy, too. Odd how they are usually spot on.
