This is an MMORPG

If you want to ensure 'spacebar', don't pug.

Its pretty simple when forming a group say lfg X flash point no cut scenes. I don't know why that is so hard.
Asani - Sorcerer / Kishira - Mercenary / Liexa - Sniper
Dead Server Refugee - Empire - Jedi Covenant (EST/PVE)

Love, like or hate the game try to remember that Opinion != Fact.

Sorry, I pay to play the game the way I want. You can go piss on a spark plug if you don't like it.

When I spam my LFM, I already add "no cutscenes" but people still refuse to hit the spacebar sometimes.

Edit: I think, for now, this issue has been resolved for me thanks to a helpful post by Zannis. I will be now be able to easily determine which player is being uncooperative and remove them.

Thank you for this helpful info. I had no idea you could determine this from the group portraits. My groups should run a lot smoother now that I can replace players who don't follow my politely stated rules.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will play the game as i see fit.... I will also make sure not to group with you.

These young ones sure do not have any patience...Its all about me me me, now now now.

Seriously sounds like my 2 year old. Daddy!!! now now now...toy store NOW!!!!

Bioware HAD to see this coming. This is just another example of lack of foresight and anticpiation on their end.

The VO/story stuff needed to be heavily trimmed down maybe to a single 20 second cut scene in flashpoints and removed from non-chain side quests altogether. The sheer amount of VO in this game takes away from its intended novelty and it just becomes annoying. Too many cutscenes is a bad thing. I had thought game developers learned this back in the days of Final Fantasy on playstation 1.

What's ironic is they also (seemingly) spent around 90% of their development resources on overdoing something that's going to end up costing the game more than its worth.

I have the perfect system:

With
LFG <Flashpoints> No Cutsies

Without
LFG <Flashpoints> No Cutscenes

Hmm.....I've just confused myself

EDIT: Srs, this is no different than LFG runs where one party wants to do all the bosses and another only wants to do the bare minimum to get daily badges. The best solution is to be upfront about your intentions and come to an agreement or move on if necessary.

I think this is the most disgusting post I've ever seen. This has to be some kind of joke. Someone like you should be blacklisted from an entire server for behavior like this. People like this are the ones who bring the entire gaming community down a level in intelligence

Ha ha funny thread.

Usually when I join a group I ask if everyone has done it before. If people haven't then I know that they're more likely to watch the cut scenes and am prepared. I usually space through ones I've seen before but have no problems waiting. I will watch the cut scenes if it's my first time.

I did pug with a 'no cutscene' guy once though. It was pretty funny because I had done the FP may times before and was happily pushing the space bar. Then I get 'you done this before. Can you please space through the convos so we can get it done faster?" Me : I already am. Him: 'Hmmmm" Me: "Look dude I am". Him: "Well hit it faster or something it's annoying me."

Now that person needed to chill. lol
