Didn't BW say there would be a blog about this already?
Do or do not, there is no try.

Just small tip, I know its very uncomfortable during fight, but it helps me during traveling/walking etc.. Alt-Z when you turn off UI (which is crappy optimized too) you can gain a 10-15 fps more. Gosh I miss for API and UI from ppl which for sure will be better optimized then default one.

lol, that was it? The ones where they deny everything even to high end users and say they arn't doing anything?

Every day this looks more and more like the exact same thing mythic did with WAR, oh wait, Mythic is part of BW now isn't it?
Do or do not, there is no try.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz
6140MB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4870

Questing FPS is anywhere from 25-130 "I had to turn V-sync on so my GPU didn't overheat"
Fleet FPS is around 15-30
Warzone FPS is 5-30 "Alderaan 5-15" "Voidstar 15-25" "huttball 15-30"

Game just runs really flaky, move a foot and BAM my fps would go from 25 to 130 out of nowhere and then stay at 130 until I moved one more foot and it would avg back out to 60. V-sync seemed to help a great deal though, alot less spikes. PVP is rather unplayable atm as a melee. Changing graphics options doesn't change my fps by even 1 lol.

I've been experiencing the indoors performance drop:
AMD HD 4850 (latest drivers)
AMD Athlon II X3 450
4GB DDR3 RAM

Here's what I observed (sorry if it all has been stated before) :

All from the same viewing angle, in the cantina in balmora (sunken sarlacc), measurements to be best of my ability using the fps counter (ctrl shift f), no players in sight and waiting for the fps to stabilize :

Low shader no shadows : ~57 fps
Low shader low shadows : ~57 fps
High shader no shadows : ~47 fps
High shader low shadows : ~47 fps
High shader high shadows : ~14 fps

Now the interesting bit:
Low shader low shadows again : ~21 fps (my level of performance with the game originally)
From having switched from high shaders to low, shadow setting switches automatically to low (OR DOES IT?).

Low shader no shadows : ~57 fps
Low shader low shadows : ~57 fps -> now how it should be.

By comparison, the outdoors performance (balmora, Sobrik, outside the cantina) ;

Low shader no shadows : ~63 fps
"bugged" Low shader low shadows : ~40 fps
High shader no shadows : ~59 fps
High shader low shadows : ~54 fps
High shader high shadows : ~48 fps
"normal" low shader low shadows : ~63 fps

Beware of that bug!

Oh! by the way, CPU usage never reaches 100% on any cores, and memory usage is 3.1GB. Probably no bottlenecks there. Also, in less demanding scenes, my max fps is 85 (consistent with my screen refresh rate, v-sync on). The graphics card is probably too old to be able to handle high quality shadows indoors, but I'm fine with that. Although indeed, the game's indoor scenes seem be unusually demanding, considering I can play BF3 or the Witcher 2 fine with this configuration.

After posting my spec and DxDiag some time ago in this mega thread, just an update on what I'm currently experiencing.

Spec:
NVIDIA GTX480 1536MB
i7 950 @ 3.07GHz
12GB DDR3
750W PSU
250GB Hard Drive (must be under 5200RPM at least)

Whilst raiding 16 man EV tonight I was experiencing around 8-20 fps whilst actively clearing trash and killing bosses. Still getting around 25 fps in Warzones and around 10 fps in Imperial Fleet.
