I'll put the clueless back on you... Especially as he could equip it...
Except the OP quite clearly stated the drop came from The False Emperor... which is not a raid.

Unless you're a stockholder, a Bioware employee, or employee of a rival company... if you're on forums and going out of your way to attack or defend a videogame then I would say you're spending way too much energy doing so and not enough energy trying to figure out what in the world is wrong with you.

lol

It is his damn job... not mine...

You can be damn sure that I know everything about my job, and if I don't I manage to find out and get the RIGHT ANSWER

Once again, been the ONLY CLASS that can equip?
You know... a Commando can equip a blaster rifle too, yet doing so freezes them out of their best advanced class abilities. They must equip an autocannon if they want to actually live up to their potential as an advanced class trooper.

Get a clue please.

And what makes people so righteous as to declare that loot suitable for companions is not allowed to drop?? get real.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

They aren't going to do anything for you. They assist with game related bugs and database issues.

If you have a game design issue, this forum is the right place to post it.
This. The GM was simply doing his job. He cannot recode the game or your abilities for you.

It is already stated "Vibro staffs are only for companions" "ONLY FOR COMPANIONS" why keep knocking on an open door, makes no sense

You CAN use it - but you cant use some abilities while using it.

Just the same as a jedi guardian CAN equip medium armour because it was a pre-advanced class skill, but doing so gimps him of a huge armour boost which he could get from using heavy armour.

Which I discovered the other day when I actually checked my orange armour and realised id been playing on 'hard mode' because it was medium armour

Ok,
Equip Electro Staff is not a pre-advanced class abilitie, its actually a POST advanced...
Sith Inquisitors and Sith sorcerers can't equip Electro Staffs... only Assassins can...
You gain that abilitie after you pick the adv class...

Well duh, haven't you guessed it by now that they are completely USELESS. They either don't know the game, don't speak English, don't have a clue or all 3 and this is another reason that is pushing me to cancel.

I'll go back to Northrend and have tea with Arthas...

Pre/post advanced class isnt really relavent.

If you read the skills, it tells you what you need to have equiped, if it says lightsabre, then it means lightsabre.

Im not really sure what the crux of your problem is - is it that you cant use it with your skills, or that it dropped in a 'raid' or that the customer service person didnt answer your question adequately?
