However that doesn't change the fact that Legacy name information is unavailable when a character is prompted for it.
What info do you need? A warning "Choosing a foolish name will result in that name being carried by your other toons".

You can hide your legacy name.

I love the whole can't change legacy names.

I love that people are having to pay for their one minute of funny. Here's a hint....most of those "hilarious names", no one but you find funny.

Welcome to the real world...in the real world there are no "take backs".

I knew about the legacy name thing before I put one in. That is because I did research online. The ingame info was really sparse, this is true for a lot of the game so I understand where the OP is coming from. Ask my OP about his comm sniper boots...

You will pretty much be forced to select a Legacy name, that window will pop up every 5 seconds if you don't and you can't see your talents until you enter something. Forces you to select a Legacy with very little info. Poop design.

Keep in my us forum trolls sometimes know things about the game and just assume others do as well. When in fact we only know from a thread here after someone figured it out or e'f'd up first. Not from a tip in game or quest text.

Why would a legacy name obey different naming conventions than character names?
Remember kids, punctuation is the only thing that separates "Let's eat, Grandma!" from "Let's eat Grandma!"

Would be nice if there was a warning that this would be permanent name. I also just added a filler name thinking it was a surname I could change at my leisure.

Maybe they should have done it like the adv class trainer.
You'd have to actually travel to fleet(where you could get the info before 30~ from the NPC) to talk to some NPC who'd hold your hand and tell you that this is a permanent choice, choose wisely.

It's not like travelling to the fleet for a thing you do once per server would be too much to ask..

Now that's a sensible suggestion
Help me, Bio-Ware Support; you're my only hope.
