your suggesting that the ones who were disappointed and are leaving are the only true fans? all because bioware lied? newsflash dude, big companies like this lie to you all the time. release dates, game content, advertisements, the free cookie in the box, whatever. if you dont like it, fine. if you have a problem with it, by all means, post as such, just dont judge everone else for not having your standards or not agreeing with your opinions, and dont determine who is a "true" fan based on who is doing what you are doing or not.

Judge a game for what it is, never buy into the developer's hype.

Which is probably why I will stick to Blizzard games. Atleast with Blizzard you know it is a quality product. They know what they are doing atleast.

Ya bringing up yet to be released MMO's and putting them on a pedestal is practically a tradition in MMO communities, the moment its released people will poop all over it as they always do. There is nothing special or dynamic about Guild Wars 2, I have seen it in action and I while I respect the NDA agreement my friend signed I won't reveal too much, I can say this. Be prepared to be disapointed.

Exactly, I knew TOR was gonna be a wow-clone with a SW skin, I bought it because I enjoy wow gameplay and it's a good timesink for a month or two. So I have to lol at people who bought it thinking it was some grand thing, or bought it for the story or some other stupid reason. After all the countless MMOs that have lied like this, you'd think people would learn not to believe developers.

If nothing else, at least Blizzard games are FINISHED

When it drops a million in the next 4 months, i'm sure it will go F2P before 2013.

They stay on the forums trying to bash it before they leave.
Fun part is that most people that did that is now treating GW2 as the second coming lol they will be in for a surprise :P
