Operative PvP video 10k crits. WOW

The first half of the video was an Operative, out of stealth, killing lots of people who were already half dead. Most of the hits were sub-1k. The big hits came from BS and Lacerate when they were up.

The second half shows the power of armor bypass coupled with every possible buff in the game running at once. Someone needs to go do this with a Gunslinger or Shadow so we can move on to more productive topics.

I saw many operative/scoundrels wannabe but I slaughter them with my scoundrel anyways since they don't know how to build or use consumable. All this fuss about OP sorc/operative/scoundrels is caused by a small number of elite sorc/operative/scoundrel in each server players who plays their toons perfectly.

False. Sages can only hit for about 4k with all them buffs. And we can only hit that once.

EVERY CLASS CAN DO THIS WITH THE RIGHT SPEC AND BUFFS, DERP!! The only difference is that Scrapper and the operative counterpart are front end BURST. WITHOUT IT THEY CANNOT FUNCTION. Other class just require more build up to get there.

I guess it's true, you can't fix stupid.

It's stupidity, and I bet you play a scoundrel / operative.

This class is indeed a burst class, but they burst way too high with the right buffs. They can burst down equal geared players in less than 5 seconds, which does not represent equality.

I think you should get your ''stupid'' checked out.

And yes, you can cc an operative, you can run. That's what everyone is saying here. You shouldn't have to run, scoundrels and operatives should be beatable like any class, if well played. The class itself is just a 3 button class right now which bursts down anyone else equally geared without putting effort in it. Your senseless caps raging won't prevent the nerf bat, buddy

with 480 expertise on a shadow, if i hit you with two clairvoyant strikes (sub 1k attacks) to buff project base dmg by 30%, grab a warzone expertise buff, pop a pvp expertise consumable, pop a surge/crit relic, pop a power adrenal, use a stim, and have all available buffs up... i've hit a project for 5900 (please note... that took two prep attacks.. minimum 4 seconds... plus the hour and 1/2 it took for the rock to come out of the ground and hit you).

in this video... the guy opened from stealth for 9928... and then IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED IT... with a 6.5k hit.

there literally... is absolutely nothing else... left to be said.

I can basically gaurantee the people screaming for a nerf to front end Op/Scound burst aren't going to be happy with the result. The only way to make up for the /many/ shortcomings the Op/Scoundrel has in comparison to basically every other class is to grant equivalence in some other fashion. Front end burst will have to be replaced with either better survivability (through CC, avoidance, whatever) or via higher sustained damage, likely in the Lethality tree.

I already play Lethality. If they fix a few minor issues with that tree and do a little power shifting, you will still die, just, not instantly. Frankly, the problem seems to be that people die quickly -- and forget all the times they smash the Conceal operative who is out of stealth. I would argue that with some energy usage tweaks, Lethality is a FAR superior specline. But it doesn't instagib anyone, so there will be no whining.

I'd love to see the folks screaming for a nerf to come up with a solution, rather than whine. What would YOU give to Concealment/Scrapper Ops/Scoundrels to make up for the removal of the only means they have to kill anyone? And the fact they effectively have no defense, so will die very quickly indeed out of stealth?

Oh, also: I love how everyone conveniently forgets how PTs/Vanguards get an AoE stealth breaker that also immobilizes anyone it pops out of stealth (if traited.) Use the counters that exist in the system.

Adrenal, WZ buff, Relic, Marauder 15% damage buff. Am I forgetting any?

Look at his buff bars. You people are ridiculous.

Nerf buffs/buff stacking then have another look at Operatives in the 50v50 bracket or the rated WZs where only geared people will be on top.
