DLCs and Expansion packs continues the journey from where you have left (reached max level, completed the campaign).
Except, hitting 60 in wow took a frigging long time.

Hitting 60 in SWTOR takes 3 days.

I guess TV Shows can't make episodes fast enough for viewers to consume them as well. Right?

So Raid/PvP gear collecting endgame is meaningful in grinding MMORPG's.

But not meaningful in story based MMORPG's.

Oh, well. You learn a new thing everyday i suppose.
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite MMORPG game.

Almost 7 days (Game Time) played Level 44 here.

I would easily level a character to 85 and geared up him full epic PvP gear set in WoW in 7 days time. And even i dare to say, if i'm to choose which characters to play, make it two 85's.

Get your facts straight!

Molten Core and Onyxias lair were in WoW on release. Not to mention the fact that even for top guilds it took a relatively long time (WoW was released in November 2004 in US and Ragnaros fell in April 2005) to clear Molten Core, and for most guilds, especially with NO beta experience, it was a HUGE trial and error, 40 man effort that required a clear command structure and discipline from ALL members to clear. WoW was extremely hardcore compared to modern WoW and especially compared to the half assed modern WoW-formula copies.

Dailies in WoW were not in launch. They are however in SWTOR.
There was 0 raids in Wow at Launch, MC was added a few months after release. SWTOR has 2 at launch.
LFR was just released in WoW.
There was no Heroics in WoW at release and only 2 modes now. SWTOR has 3 modes (Normal, Hard, Nightmare) more then WoW has currently.
Faction grinds are garbage. We have Social and Valor to compare.
Pet collection is also in SWTOR.
Achevements... Well we have the codex so finding all the lore, and we have Legacy which isn't finished yet.

SWTOR has more then WoW did at release and is on par with the other content WoW has right now.. minus the full scale raiding which it took WoW years to aquire.
But you can't compare TOR to WOW at release... it's competing to WOW NOW!

I don't compare the newest graphics card to a monster 3d! Do you?

Dailies in WoW were not in launch. They are however in SWTOR. <- They are a hassel to do right now because they are spread out to much.
There was 0 raids in Wow at Launch, MC was added a few months after release. SWTOR has 2 at launch. <- they are bugged and if they are working to easy
LFR was just released in WoW. <- so? I just mentioned it as one of many options.
There was no Heroics in WoW at release and only 2 modes now. SWTOR has 3 modes (Normal, Hard, Nightmare) more then WoW has currently. <- normals are fine imho, heroics are really overtuned and the reward is not worth any effort.
Faction grinds are garbage. We have Social and Valor to compare. <- again... it's just one option... and I agree faction grind is garbage... social grind is not more fun but less frustration... reward is better though.
Pet collection is also in SWTOR. <- yes, but done much worse than in wow
Achevements... Well we have the codex so finding all the lore, and we have Legacy which isn't finished yet. <- True but it is does not deliver the same competitiveness that makes people to it in wow... and in wow I hate achievments btw.

The Legacy system has potential but right now it is useless. It will not keep people busy until there is reward for it.

And why do I have rose coloured classes? I don't say wow is perfect... I say they did something right by offering so many choices that appeal to so many different types of players.

I would not call it a Ghost Town right now. But without some work it could happen soon.

Just to make one thing about my position clear... I really, really, really³ hope Bioware has something in the works... the game deservers it.
