Should class requirements be a mechanic?

Wondering what people think about whether you should need a certain mixture of advanced classes to beat an encounter. (trying best not to let other MMOs influence their thoughts on this too much)

When all DPS/Tank/Healers are supposed to be equally viable (according to Bioware), should a hard mode flashpoint or operation require a certain class? Or should they be doable with any class combination as long as the roles are fulfilled (e.g. 1 Tank, 1 MDPS, 1 RDPS, 1 Healer for a hard mode flashpoint)

It seems certain content in the game is already geared heavily towards certain classes, whether it's PvP, certain flashpoint bosses or operations. I don't have too much of a problem with that as long as it's fairly evenly spread amongst content, but there is a significantly large gap between certain classes in some instances that seem too ridiculous.

Maybe class balancing, or content tuning will help.

No, any class combo as long as the trinity is met should be able to complete a flashpoint.
Take the Malgus encounter. It almost REQUIRES 2 knock backs. This really limits what classes can complete this. Really Bioware?
