I'm full tank geared with all upgrades and such, and he dropped me in 5 seconds while I was attending to the other strong NPC. I was finally able to down it by blowing all CD's the instant they spawned, and focusing the minigun mob(he has the quest item drop). I died after he died, without touching the 2nd strong mob. A bit crazy, I'd say.

Not to mention that the mobs spawn in an Evading way, and then teleport 20 yards behind you and start blowing you up.
Oh yeah I remember that guy. And several others which ends up the same way. I have killed the little guys, or most of them, and the boss is left standing. I then ress and kill the boss. Seems like it is the MO for tackling half the 'boss' quests. The worst yet is the very last Voss quest (pre-bonus) in the dirt hole, that Abyssin guy. He was quite the handful for a healless spec.

Game is soloable?

Try doing the end of your act 1 as an Assassin.
And that you did not gear Khem val because
you have been levelling your 2nd DPS companion and gearing him instead.

You are forced to use Khem (undergeared) you are also facing a 1 Gold,
which is normally okay for you and an undergeared khem..

Then you realize.. HOLY HELL THE AOE IS NUTS, and before you know it
Khem is dead, and you are next. You could try avoid her AOEs but
you can barely do anything with shock and electrocute, you try to
pop CDs pop Medpacks, pop stims, nope your Khem dies in
a few seconds and you just go down soon after.

I won't name the boss cause it's a spoiler, but I've heard Sorc's get it
easier because they can remain at range kite and LoS.

I for one just got outside help to finish it.

Also, end quest in Balmorra for Inquisitor? The colicoid boss that spawns adds
every few seconds? He is indeed soloable but it takes alot of thinking and alot of
things you should not be required to do to kill a boss, which includes pulling him
very very far from his spawn point.

With my experiences as an Assassin, and now I'm playing a Marauder, yes I believe
alot of mob difficulties are simply botched on some levels. I'm not asking for an easy mode game.. I'm asking for a boss not Impossible for me to solo Bioware, especially
when it's a CLASS STORY QUEST.

I'm a level 42 Sith Sorc in level 40 epic gear. I try all different companions for different fights, but find that Khem is best with him tanking. It just takes too long per fight
This.

Sometimes I felt like I was doing a platform puzzle and had to time my attacks precisely correct to not get whelped. And sometimes you just had no chance, a "wandering" hard would come around the corner in a narrow passage and he might have a 10 minute journey. It drove me nuts! Also there where, on Voss I think, areas where they teamed two "hards" so you had no chance to avoid one of them. Especially not as Juggernaut with no significant CC options.

I do like a hard fight, especially the hard elites that takes skilled and planned attacks to defeat but getting whiped 10 times in a row even with a flawless effort is not so fun.

Another reason I hate Nar Shaddaa. Silver enemies are effing EVERYWHERE there and Tatooine. One in five mobs there, at least, has a chance of kicking the crap out of you. It's just ridiculous.

I have pretty much soloed my way through... They are not that bad.. Please stop calling for dumbing down the game.. Either your to low of a level or your gear sucks...

I have been killed many of times... It just makes me rethink the fight. Learn to change your style like putting the companion on passive till you get the group split...

But please stop calling for nerf.. Its not that bad...

Here a hint.. INTERRUPTS

Yep

I've honestly had strongs do MORE dmg than elites or even class bosses. The ending Act 1 for BH had a TON of strongs...and they were HARD compared to the tame boss.

LOL

Silvers aren't exactly strong. I'm sorry but I haven't had any issues with them. Are you a healer class perhaps? Maybe I can see some issues there as healers aren't the best solo'ers. This game is pretty easy comparatively speaking.

Heres a hint for you , you smarmy I got a class that can pwn everything ***.

Ofc we all realise your awesomeness at breezing through every part of this game with absolutly no problems at all. Yeah if we actualy belive you or just feel your overiding need to express "How easy" it was for you is just your weak attempt to be seen as a rightous one, defending the intent and honur of Bioware. As your on the board and know exactly the devs intent.

No? **** then and let people express the problems they found while leveling. Did they ask for nerfs? Nope, they just pointed out that for some, they find it strange that some silver mobs seem to be more dangerous than gold elites.

Try being a class that has ***** dps, poor cumbersome cc, relying on a resource that starts at zero, facing two mobs that put full geared same level healer type players to shame. Oh and they can dps while healing. To add to the fun, theres a patroling one who if you dont kill the first few in time will join in the fun. To top it off, theres a couple of gray mobs, fairly weak but a pain to focus down as you have those nice 2 healing mobs keeping the swine up.

Try and burn 1, while trying not to miss a single inturupt and use the cc's you got as best you can, then realise the other monkey heals it back up and there is sod all you can do about it. Both these are silver mobs, Jedi guardians or defenders (got some golden glowing aoe heal crap)on illum. Theres a couple on corelia as well that are a total PITA to get by. Thats for a decently geared immortal jugg using a decent geared heal companion. Did I beat them? yes, Did i find it unduely hard to accomplish given it was a leveling quest, yes.

I'm not asking for buffs or nerfs to the mobs. Just want to know what the design reasoning was to have these and why the difficulty is more than that I have run across in most flashpoints. Its making leveling at times more annoying or frustrating than raiding. It did nothing for my skill learning curve other than acknowledge the fact my class has poor dps and a clumsy inturupt system.

Sorry that you got so riled up over this.

I'm just saying that the leveling process in this game is the easiest I have ever seen. I am playing a tank and don't have high DPS but stuff goes down very easily. Elites are comparatively easy. In other games equal level Elites aren't meant to be soloed yet they go down like nothing in this game. Same for multiple Silvers.

Wasn't trying to insult you, but if stuff is too hard maybe group up??? I don't know what you are experiencing since I cannot relate. Game is easy compared to other MMOs.
