Not so much before level 25 but after you purchase your speeder+training its almost like you don't recover for awhile and you cant afford to train your class abilities if they are at 5-8k apiece. I could see them knocking ¼ to ½ off the cost of abilities between 25 and 45. I'm not all for an easy game though. The mount training needs to remain the same price and level.
No, the point is that crew skills are massive money sinks. You can blow a bunch of credits sending your companions out on missions before you even realize it. Buying every single schematic only adds to the amount of money you waste. Buy what you need to level because you're not going to make money off of most of it. If you don't throw lots of money into crew skills, you have plenty for training your class abilities.

You basically need to kill EVERYTHING!

Every creature/ Droid that is even close to your mission area, even the ones that are neutral and minding their own business have to be harvested for you to even have a chance of affording all the training.

Sadly, the non speeder training costs rise as well until they are almost equivalent.

I am level 35 and I pay 14,800 credits per skill now.

Do you pick up and sell loot? You can make a good 20-25k in a couple hours of playtime.

And by the time you're level 40, 20-25k is just barely enough to afford ONE class skill cost at your trainer.

For a long time i never had any creds....but that was by choice. I loved to spend my creds, i always bought all my class abilities as soon as i got them, i always had atleast 7 of the current medpacs, and i sent my companions on tons of crew missions. It was okay for me i never really needed the creds, but then someone told me about the price of speeder training. My spending habits changed, withing 2 levels i was halfway to speeder bike prof. cost, i didnt train much, i only bought medpacs for tough boss fights, and no more crew missions. So by the time lvl 25 rolled around i had 40k creds, but then i trained a bunch of class abilities and my money fell to 30k......i got that 10k back in twenty minutes. So, what i'm trying to say is, don't worry about it, once you hit nar shadaa and tatooine your creds will sky rocket.

I think the cost of training is not proportional to the rewards. Since the slicing nerf it's very hard to stay above poverty level.

210K credits at level 40 for Speeder 2?

330K credits at level 50 for Speeder 3?

That's nuts.

If you need money, PvP.

I helped like 3 people get their mount before I was level 30.
Acindo - 66 Assassin - 2/31/8
Acindo - 71 Scoundrel - 3/31/7
