While you might be right, they did write a post saying that they were working on decreasing wait times, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
The Swiftsure was just an example on the queue time alone relative to other queue times of last week.

Oh my God! They launched during a vacation week, and now there are less people logging in? There must be a mass exodus! It's the only explanation!

Well, that an MMO numbers always go down after a launch, and people are working and going back to school. But that couldn't be it! It must be doomsday!

Did you even read the thread? I am not talking about simply looking around town or Hoth.

Strong comprehension skills in this one.

you list swiftsure as evidence, and there are many reasons why this anomoly could be occoring, but the one i suspect is that it is so heavilly populated. Heavilly populated servers seem the most healthy, and become more popular.

You also list anecdotal evidence regarding your guild and your server. Could you present some sample numbers? In order to see if this is a point of concern, we have to look at the numbers, and for anecdotal evidence to stand for the claim that "the game is losing alot of subs" it had better be very drastic.

This isn't a bash thread, I made that clear. Also, it's this way 24 hours a day, not just during the day/middle of the night. It's more than just going back to work/school.

Yeah. People are working and back in school. That means less time to stay up late playing, and other commitments.

You're reading way too much into this. And yes, I'm sure numbers of people logging in have gone down somewhat, as MMO numbers always do after a launch. It's perfectly normal for people not to want to play all-out after the initial marathons.

Maybe there are more people like my husband and I.

We are in a small guild on a heavily populated server, where we play Imperials. We are ALSO on another server playing Republic.

We split our time between the servers and factions, plus we sometimes have real life to attend to. I'm sure our guildies wonder why we are not more active, when the truth is we ARE as active in the game as we can and want to be, just not always with the guild.

We plan on playing SWTOR for a long time, at our own pace and going by what we feel like playing, without any pressure to get to 50 or gear up or anything.

I appreciate your use of big words, however your comprehension is on par with that twelve year old girl that posted on the first page.

The Swiftsure was only used as a comparison to server population due to the other servers matching it's queues, or having HIGHER queues than it, just a week ago. Now they are Standard, and some are even Light, when they would be 20 minute queues regularly. Swiftsure being queued still means that there was no cap increase, but a player login decrease across the board. Even at prime time playing hours.

The actual number itself is not needed here, simply looking at the population column will tell you the estimated numbers at any given time.

In the EU side of things, queue times decreased but there are still lots of full and very heavy servers.

I'm 100% sure that there are more EU players than US players in SWTOR.

Really? Cause I've seen quite a few servers at heavy or very heavy, with a couple of full ones, in the same 24 hour period (over the weekend). Funny.
