It is this cry baby crap that ruins games. Developers will listen to a bunch of insta gratification and ruin it for the rest of us. I like to work at games, not have everything handed to me. I like to have gear I earned and lucked out on in winning.

If this makes you quit the game, go back to WoW and I got pacifier for you too.

It doesn't matter that everyone's subjected to the system. It's that the system isn't fun.

valour rank 42 i think, roughly 10medals per warzone, have 3/5 champion armour 2 implants 2 relics weapon/shield wrists belt, bought 2 pieces of centurion which have champ mods i put in from doubles, and 5 pieces of champion gear for my companion.

i'm not even valour rank 60 yet and i have almost a full set of champion pvp gear, its fine, people like you are too used to WoW type mmos where you get something for nothing and like to put in zero time for maximum reward.
dont like it? dont play it.

RNG loot like this is terrible. The lesson was learned a long time ago yet Bioware have stuck these boxes in just about everywhere. Another very naive decision by Bioware when it comes to MMO's.

Noone is asking for it to be easier, just that its a lot better to be able to see the goal and aim for it. Make bags 1000 merc credits and guarantee there is a piece in there that you are not wearing. Whats wrong with that?

Having a bad losing streak while others who have done a lot less are raking in champion pieces is just total ********. It does nothing but make your customers upset and angry, as this thread demonstrates. Sure the lucky ones are smug for now but when they are after their last 3 pieces and pull their 27th implant we'll see how long the smugness lasts.

You have been incredibly lucky to get that. The fact you don't even realise it and then call everyone else lazy just goes to show why it is a terrible system.

I have guildies at much higher valor than you who have clearly opened far more boxes and have nowhere near what you have managed.

change the system completely.

1. Increase commendation cap.
2. Scratch the whole merc -> wz commedation swap. It's pointless and stupid when both types of commendations come from the same sources.
3. Either have commendations (an dramatically increased amount) trade for tokens, or just the gear (centurion) themselves.
4. Have champion gears (one level up) require X amount of commendations PLUS the centurion version of that gear, and have a valor level requirement (lets say 30 or 40).
5. Repeat for Battlemaster gears and keep valor requirement.

So now people's gear actually PROGRESS, rather than be RNG. Low valor people can no longer just RNG their way to Champion gears, and people will always be rewarded for their effort.

So basically exactly how Rift does it. Not that I disagree, I think that is the best system I've seen to date.

Grats to all of the QQ bears that cried about the RNG system. Battlemaster Bags will give Battlemaster and Champion comms instead of having a chance to proc any gear. Grats its now a grind instead of a fun bonus.

Also Merc comms will be obtainable from killing players in pvp zones come 1.1 as well so you guys should probably read the pvp update and stop ************ about **** that's already been addressed.

I change my chest piece daily. I do this though because I throw up on it a little every time I open a champ bag and get another one....so I think I know why you are changing your pants daily.
