Well im from the times when LFD were you asking others. Of course LFD is a nice tool to have by I think if they add it they need to regulate the servers that get into the queue with you, like say RP server players queue up with only other RP server players simply because no matter how much dps I am over the others, im still a "lol an RPer"

Look, I want LFD as much as the next time people but I dont feel like getting the bejeezus trolled out of me for my server selection.
As of right now, i'm rash free.

Actually i dont only blame LFD

Because the thing that happened aswell before the automatic LFD was when Blizzard started handing out better rewards for Afking Pvp that the real lazy instant gratification with a huge entitlement issue players came into the light .

And sadly after that they started demanding more and more lazy gameplay and Blizz just smiled rubbed theire hands and shut theire eyes and served them that while totally ruining the game. (Happened about that time Acticision became really involved 3 cheers for kotick...................)

After that it became more and more sad....

Problem is now that alot of people think it is within theire right to get good gear without actually accomplish anything in the game.

Basicly if they stand naked and dancing some think they should be entitled to the best gear the game have to offer .

They want a
Time== reward instead of actually playing and accomplish the task to get rewarded

The only argument that can be made is that cross-server tools of any kind destroy server communities, nothing more.

There is no rational argument against LFG/LFD tools that are server restricted. The tool doesn't need to port you either, it just needs to help you get a group.

I played WoW from launch day until just before TOR. It got a respectable LFG tool well in its first year, and I'd say the best version it ever had was during TBC.

Well right there is what's been happening on these forums for the most part when it comes to discussions about a LFG/LFD tool. .5% of the game's population dictating how the rest of us are going to play because they felt the tool didn't work very well for RPers in another game.

Kudos to you for being honest. It's refreshing to see someone with actual integrity.

Simply request that RP servers be exempt from the tool then, or have a separate tool just for RP servers. Why make the rest of us conform to what you people want when we don't play on your servers?

Why not just make the LFD only look for others on your server rather than scanned over other servers...works for me, that kinda takes care of the whole "KILLS MAH COMMUNITAY!"

LFD is good. Cross realm LFD is bad.

I haven't got a single new true friend after LFD was implemented either, mostly because even if you meet nice people in the Dungeons you can't really get to know them better and start something bigger.

There are many other reasons, you just can't see them, and it makes me wonder why. Were you the guy needing on **** just because you needed gold? Perhaps, who knows.
Explain how you could really get to know people after the Dungeon ended before LFD? Please. I'd love to hear this, because I've never in my 10 years of playing MMOs have noticed any difference between random people from LFG chat, and random people from LFD.

I've been with the same guild for 7 years now, and I still can't really say I know everybody really well because guess what, it's still an online interaction. Despite gaming together, the relationship with most people is still one dimensional, and limited to the game you're playing.

The single most valid reason to not have it is ... this game can be played and conquered without it. It's an ancillary addition, a quality of life issue. They can look at it later, after gameplay bugs and showstoppers are dealt with.

I'll guarantee you that the lack of a LFG/LFD tool is THE biggest showstopper revolving around this game right now. In fact I'll go further and say that I guarantee you that the lack of one has already caused more people to get fed up and quite the game than any of the other issues that this game has combined. It isn't just ancillary for most people. The frustration one feels from standing around for God knows how long whenever you want to do group content at early levels is causing people to look ahead at the rest of the leveling process and just plain give up.

Youll get your Flashpoint Finder sooner or later, so stop crying about it. As it is right now, there is enough people around to get everything done. Most people are still leveling. When your majority of players are in the endgame you will see your finder.
