I am having a blast in this game PVP'ing. I play a dps/tank hybrid. I can successfully help my team complete objectives all the while dps'ing and playing offensively and get plenty of medals for... wait for it... actually helping my team win.

All three of the warzones are fantastic, even with getting Huttball about 3/5's of the time. Voidstar is my favorite so far followed by Huttball and then Alderaan. But all three are very well made.

I'm also leveling a healer to see what all the complaining about is there because i've played a healer in almost every other MMO.

Solo queue = Nightmare.I solo queue alot and I deal with alot of bads. People that are still level 11. People rolling their 3rd alt. That one guy who is super negative about every game unless he wins. That dude insulting you because you've played every waking hour on this game. Thats the majority of the people I get to PvP with.

Let's talk OP for a second. As an Assassin I hate ranged DPS. I can kill most of them but compare my damage to theirs. I will do maybe 150k max and they will do double or triple my damage. Also Operatives, I hate dealing with those people who think that bursting someone down in 5 seconds makes them good at PvP. And the fact is Bioware wont balance the classes for awhile. So I just have to deal with people.

Resolve bar: Horrible, horrible, horrible. I understand the line of thinking adding it to the game. "Lets allow everyone to have their stuns and knockbacks and implement a system that makes you immune to these effects for a short time." Well.... resolve is buggy and never works. It disappears too fast and you can still be slowed with it on. I abuse that all the time. Force Slow, Force Slow, spam, spam, spam. Personally I hate it. I hate that the failure of the resolve bar and the omission of a good diminishing returns system. Huttball could be amazing if you werent dropping F-Bombs every other minute in Huttball.

RNG Champion Bags. This is the blunder of all blunders. How many people have stopped PvPing already because out of the 20 bags they've opened they have got nothing. Or they have got 4 earpieces. Personally I had to buy a lightsaber with 123 Centurion marks for the Champ Lightsaber. So aside from being a horribly thought out system if you arent lucky enough to get a weapon you have to buy it at a horribly inflated price. I felt punished because I wasnt lucky enough to get a weapon. I wasnt happy to get my Champion Saber I was bitter.

I would say 5. I've hardly ever done PvP in past MMOs so I'm having fun doing something new. I can imagine how PvP would be boring for PvP vets though.

As of now I'm playing a Jedi Consular but I think I'll like Warzones a lot more when I play a class I like better. Sometimes I do really well and I'm really proud of my Shadow, though.

9/10 once 50 only bracket is implemented

10/10 once ability delay is smoothed out and rated warzones are in

This. Was locked down for well over a min by 4 mara's and the roots / force choke with 2 healers on me. Resolve bar never went up once, also was being rooted non stop by some ranged class in a match before that and couldn't make it 5ft before being rooted again. It would be tolerable if it would actually work, but I wouldn't complain with any good diminishing return system either.

I'd say 3/10, 4/10 at best.

1.) CC and Resolve. Its needs a major reworking in my opinion. For 1v1 its fairly balanced, but with the sever lack of world PvP right now (and the future doesnt look much better) it cant be balanced for 1v1. The CC breaker needs a lower base cooldown (maybe 60s or 75s) or the resolve system needs adjust to 'activate' faster.

2.) Warzones. They arent too bad, my only complaint is that huttball has too many hazards. Couple that with that amount of CC and the near useless CC breaker and its too aggrovating. Alderaan and Voidstar are ok (but they need to fix the Voidstar door bug).

3.) Class Balance. A few specs are a little too strong, but honestly I'm just not seeing the degree of overpoweredness that people are ************ about. They can be beaten, its just tough and they should be brought down just a tad.

4.) Lag/Combat Flow. One of the bigger issues to me. Combat in PvP feels too clunky, and the UI/combat system bugs out not letting you cast abilities when you should be able too. Combat in PvP needs to feel fluid and responsive, otherwise it leads to un-needed frustration.

5.) PvP gear grind. Its better that an MMO finally adds a random factor into PvP like PvE end-game has, but its too random. Adjust the randomness of the Bags and it should turn out ok.

6.) World PvP. This is a HUGE letdown for me. I mean its Star WARS world PvP should be a decent chunk of the puzzle! Instead you rarely see anyone of the oppisite faction while leveling, and the talked-up "PvP planet" actually discourages PvP. Honestly I see very little reason to even roll (or not to roll) on a PvP server in SWTOR, the whole aspect of a PvP server just doesnt exsist in the game.

Overall, I think the PvP has potential, but in its current form it is nothing short of a disappointment. I fear its not going to improve much anytime soon, and that is the most disheartening part...

6.5 ATM Ppv is fun and quick paced obviously there are class balance issues and other issuesike ui lack of macros etc etc but the game has a good base it's what they do in future patches to resolve issues that will make or break the game.

Wish they would let me change my level 50 Marauder for a level 50 sent on republic (with the gear i've earned) that way i can try and help balance the one sided server i'm on lol.

But i would give it 3/10 due to the simple fact the planet totally sucks people rather trade the point than fight for them and this is even on a PvP server.

I like the rewards.
I like getting XP, cash, and badges (especially for defending).
I don't like 50s fighting 10s (it was really fun when everyone was around 15-ish) but I hear this is getting fixed.
I don't like that we can't choose which WZ we go to.
I don't like the timers (yes I was an AV and WSG junkie in WoW).
I get around 20 fps in Alderaan and 10 fps in the other two.
Ability delay.

4/10

Hell if I could just stop playing WZs like they're slideshows I'd be having way more fun (7/10)
This better not suck.
