You can bind them, but they are still annoying to me. I just don't like to have vertical hotbars. I'd prefer to keep them all centered neatly at the bottom center of my screen. Four or five at the bottom center would be ideal for me.

I just don't get it....you make a multi-million dollar MMO for the masses and you don't even balance amount of abilities with available slots in the UI?
I swear, some of the things that went into this game is just....mindboggingly stupid.

Yeah I have about 3 full bars of abilities alone at 50, throw in stims/medpacks,buffs,speeder,fleet transport ticket, sprint it almost takes up the 4th.

I am also playing on 5760x1920 resolution across 3x 28" Widescreen monitors in eyefinity mode...so the bars to left and right are just horrible. I would be thrilled if they would at least let me unlock the things and move them over....and the minimap while they're at it, because on the far right of my third monitor makes it near useless to me.

I use the top bar by the default 1-=, the bottom bar is Shift + 1-=, and I'm probably make bottom bar 7-= as Ctrl + 1-=, and have the top -= for buffs.

Playing a sniper, I know I can ditch corrosive dart, Frag grenade (Not useful most of the time), and maybe more. And why even put quicktravel and fleet pass on your hotbars, as the cooldowns are so long.. it's wasted space? And really? Medpacs? Maybe I just don't engage 5 enemies at once/ actually use CC. I rarely use meds lol.

If you're able to do Ctrl + Shift + number, then I could have 24 keys easily accessible by my left hand... Orr I could assign Ctrl Shift to another bar... but I don't like making that take up space... I'm 13 so my hands are small. ._.

And yes, I /sign this, we do have too many abilities.

Simple UI request that should be easily implemented. IF you care to utilize it or not, or keybind, or another "workaround" is not the issue. Not having support for a modding community does require a bit more effort on the polish from the developers as bad UI will frustrate playes and frankly the competition is too strong to be "below the bar" in a premium pay game. Quick wins include:
  • Resizable windows
  • Scalebalbe windows
  • More toolbars
  • ability to remove annoying red error messages barfing in the middle of the screen
  • an option
for a cleaner UI

im not even going to bother even opening the side bars because we will be able to add more bottom bars soon enough... i can almost say this as fact because they would be stupid not to put this in-game in the near future

I am playing marauder at the moment and I completely support this message. There are more abilities I use then I don't. I already have 2 bars full and can't squeeze anything else. I also use medpacks and adrenals. But frankly, I wish there was just support for macros so I don't actually have to push Cloak of Pain button every time it is up.

Agree with OP could do with 1 more bottom bar, can be a problem trying to find extra ability's to the side

Stealth Scan is on the right bar, along with my medpac buffs, sprint speeder and recharge.

What exactly is the problem?

EDIT: just glanced over your post again.

Your problem is you are a clicker.

Solution: Keybind.
I am glad to hear that Merc still has room on the bottom 24. At 36 for Sniper, I have 37 keybinds going (and that's with tossing 2 or 3 skills). It's not that they are not keybound, it's that they are not at the bottom of my screen for CD, visuals, etc.

I shouldn't have to scan my large monitor to keep track of skills with more than the 1.5 GCD.

I am enjoying the game, not a hater. Not quitting, bashing or any of that. I *will* continue to play this great game. But if some classes (and it is not all) are going to have 30+ skills, what the farg with the 24 Bottom Center limit? --> stupid design flaw.

Hey, if it's working for you, great. But it's not working for some of us in more management intensive AC's.

Would a 3rd bottom slot row *kill* your game? Then don't turn it on. But it's a real hindrance for some professions.

What the frak with people not wanting to offer more flexibility and usability?

I have a 32 Sorcerer and I still have quite a few open slots. You have to use the side bars as well as the bottom 2 bars.

Also, about companion bars... all the companions abilities have keybindings... learn them.
