Why are so many people saying this game is bad?

Because the absolute majority of players don't use the forums? There's about 1000th of the people who play posting on the forums, maybe less, and there are a tonne of people who don't even play posting. The majority of forum users aren't enjoying the game because the people who are enjoying it are playing it.

Online haters gonna hate.

The web gives us the direct forum to vent and voice our displeasure with any given thing. As such, it has the side effect of implanting a false assurance or assumption that just because they're displeased it then requires a public lambasting of a thing in the face of otherwise just stating one's displeasure and moving on.

Conversely, to be fair, there IS a reciprocal backlash of what's termed 'fanboyism' by those who feel complaints against their 'side' must be torn apart similarly and with equal uselessness.

So it's a vile brew we get to deal with here in interweb-land. Just have to know when to segue yourself to threads non-toxic to one's time/attention if it impacts negatively. Otherwise...LAY ON! o.O

I'm a pvp player mostly. I cannot queue for a warzone without being kicked to the character creation screen. I would call that pretty 'game breaking' due to the fact I cannot play the game I paid for.

The combat delay is game breaking. Yes, I suppose I could still sort of play the game in the same manner I could dig over my allotment with a dessert spoon.

Arrive at 50 and try to do some PvE action and you'll see where the hate comes from. And trust me, it's due.

Bioware needs to be careful as you are starting to see articles pop up regarding 'serious design flaws.' If people start to think the game is seriously flawed it's going to limit upside potential. Bug fixes right now are paramount.

Well, it could be because it's not a particularly good game. Nor horrible, but certainly not good.

And just for the record "the most fun I have had with an mmo since I quit playing WoW" sounds eerily similar to "the most fun I've had since my last prostate exam." Low standards are not a good indication of quality.

You have some idiot, that probably never played the game, come read man-babie gibberish on the boards, then run out and post an article that he sells to a magazine for 50 bucks, to which other man-babies concur.

I mean really. How the hell can you critique any long term game who's very nature is long term development in the first two weeks and expect any credence to be given to your opinion?

The most that can be critiqued at this point is the launch....which is right up there with the best there has been.

The only serious complain I have atm is low fps. Hell I can live with the ability delay I'd just like to stop playing a slideshow.

Other than that, two thumbs up
