I know, it might just seem like another "can I really RE this?" but this is a specific case I cannot find answers about.

I bought from a player the N-12 Combat Saboteur schematic :

it's a blue (not orange as shown on torhead) always crit (the augmentation modification case) blaster.

I have never seen violet versions of those sort of objects, blue, with special names (from schematics) and always crit like this.

Is it really possible to RE this to a violet version or are those schematics meant to stay blue?
