Nonsense, we did just fine in other games before parsing. In fact, we did just fine in the original WoW without parsing. It's not needed and it takes away from the experience.

What parsing really allows is someone else to get on your case... and that is definitely not fun.

Raiding guilds used parsers all the time in vanilla. They weren't in the game as Recount but they were webscripts that people extracted the combat log onto. Combat logs were also in EverQuest. Sorry to knock you off your high horse.

Well, you need a combat log for a SBT (scrolling battle-text) add-on to function. Even if I didn't want to min/max, I would want one just for that sole purpose.

Um ahet to break this to you but.... this game is a wow clone (being that I think Warcraft is actually a great game, it's time is just up. Being a wow clone is a compliment coming from me). It wow with lightsabers! ALOT less features, Alot more voice overs/cutscenes.

I mean have you seen the talent tree? looks kinda like....have you seen The Action bars? even the 2 on the side, reminds me of something...

I really dont get the warcraft hate... the majority of MMO players around the world have played it. Some people wouldnt even be here if it wasnt for Wow.

A lot of the die-hard fan-boys see WoW as a threat, so they deem it necessary to demagogue it at every given opportunity.

I used to play Wow, I like it, and got bored of it!
But it was not wow itself, the game mechanics and so are GREAT, for me is it just time for new classes new environment and stories.
I think they should have copied wow even more, and as I programmer and a Master of Computer Science am I sad to see that they do not allow addons, as that is about 80% of the fun for me!

There are a reson wow was a success, and still is! We would be stupid to overlook that!
And to the people comparing the wow launch with swtor launch. Remember that the wow launch and Duke Nukem 3d launch is closer to each other, then wow and swtor! We expect new games to be better, or else would we all still be playing pac-man!

Agree 100%. The only thing missing from WOW as far as mouse movement and camera panning is concerned.

Another example : I like to run in one direction and look at the world from another angle than the default.

I don't think the game needs resuscitated, but I don't disagree with what you label as issues, either.
