Cancelled because of poor pvp balance and issues with fps in warzones.

This game and almost all others arn't designed to be played all day every day for weeks. If you play so much obviously you will get bored/burned out/frustrated. God, just learn to restrict yourself and play a few hours here and there and everyone will be a lot happier.
BRILLIANT!!! The fix to all PvP issues!!! Bioware should hire you and you can just cap every one's play time to 4 hours a day max so no one will get bored it was so simple...

Yep. OPvP has been a total blast. Albeit, it was a suxor to wait until around level 25 to do it, but it's been fun ever since. WZs, which I initially disliked for the most part because they are a carebear zone, have actually started to become really fun now that my toon is 40+. Good, long grindout fights have been the norm the past couple of days.

Now I don't have blinders on. PvP in SWTOR can certainly be improved, and does need some solid love, but watching a bunch of whiners that didn't even make it to level cap quit is lulz. Just admit it QQers...you're broke and can't afford the $15/month. lol

This is a very telling post and really a good source of the issues surrounding the current "PvP" player base. It seems that a majority of the "PvPers" are really just carebears in disguise that think PvPing is just clicking a queue button and then sleep-walking through instanced fights. I honestly believe they wouldn't know how to find an OPvP fight if their life depended on it, and even if they found one, they certainly would get wrecked in their shoes.

Baddies will be baddies. Baddies certainly quit. heh

I can't imagine the majority of these carebear PvPers in Darkfall. That game would truly give them nightmares and they probably wouldn't be able to sleep in their own bed at night after just two days of playing. Good riddance to the lamerz.

Cancelled, too many problems to care to explain, brought many from my guild with me.

Apparently, you're not seeing the point. When a company claims to have open PvP content in its game, and moreover when it claims to have the best PvP developer team on the planet ever, then we can expect to have top-level-quality Open PvP. And the facts are we don't have that PvP at this moment. On the contrary, we have the feeling that this game was released while it was not finished.

Well, it's still time for BW to react, but they must react before it's too late. People who cancel their sub rarely come back in the game afterwards.

Once again, I wish the best to this game and to BW.
I completely see the point, you are simply being foolish and unreasonable about the whole thing. You and the other people claiming to quit the game. It doesn't matter how long an MMO is in development, it WILL have issues when it releases. WoW wasn't perfect when it came out, Rift wasn't perfect when it game out, no MMO was perfect when it came out.

Biowares focus for this game was to create a story driven environment based on a popular IP. Guess what, they did it. All of the other stuff is either fluff or standard MMO fare. Since all the other stuff was secondary, it suffered. Things will be added, fixed and otherwise. We haven't even been through the first month and your kind of people are stomping around like 5 year olds that were told they can't have a cookie for breakfast.

Go educate yourself on game development and MMO game systems and come back with more enlightened and valid reasoning because right now you are quitting over 'the usual' of an MMOs birth. Just because there are lessons from other MMOs doesn't mean developers are going to have the time or the money to make everything as perfect as the playerbase wants. Go learn about these things so you can see how invalid your reasons for quitting are.

The devs are working on things and there has to be a balance of bug fixes and new features, we are already getting a pvp update within the first month of release, I think that is a testament to how important this game is to the developers and plenty of reason why people should give the game much longer than 15 days.

Whine, cry and leave if nothing is fixed in 6 months or a year, not 15 days, get real guys, this is MMO gaming. MMOs are never finished, period, that's the nature of a dynamic environment, it's never done and it always evolves or it dies. Don't like it? Go try to make one yourself.

I have now gotten 32 people to unsub. I will keep campaigning for anyone unhappy with this godawful pvp system to join me in unsubbing.

I am happy with it but I knew it was coming and more in the future. All MAJOR issues will be fixed in a reasonable amount of time with this new influx of revenue for the development team. I'm not worried, never was and this is just whipped cream on my swtor pie.

Keep it coming BW, not all of your customers are unreasonable quitters.

maybe theyll make a "ZOMG RESUBBING THREAD" and try to get people to jump on that bandwagon next
