As for those weaker players complaining about 50s, this is complete BS.
Im level 25, sure its hard (impossible... maybe...) to defeat an entire 50s team when you get none on your side, but come on, how many times does it happen... ?

Just admit the fact that you are weaker and deal with it, later on you will be on the stronger side of the wheel.

Honestly, this massive QQ thread is all about whining weaklings who can't realize they are playing a freaking multiplayer game.
All you want is victory, and even more, SOLO victory. You want to be better than everyone.
You can't realize team work wins warzones, no matter your 10 medlas farming lowbies while the opponent team scores 6 points.

You lose against coordination and effective teamwork, wise use of different classes abilities, and you stay stucked inside your whinning spiral because no, jumping alone against five foes won't do you any good.

I sincerely hope Bioware will keep brackets as they are, because not winning every time doesn't mean you don't get to learn things. And i for one, am way more mad at headless chickens running around without any kind of game reading nor any team work capabilities.

Doesn't mean nothing has to be tweaked.
But grow up, and, well, learn to *********** learn.

See.
This is the pvp forum. Competitive people don't enjoy beating weaker opponents.
Don't assume we are all in the same sad state a you.

Pvp without the players being on somewhat equal ground is pointless.

No I won't enjoy playing against lvl 10s when I am 50. The idea itself just sounds stupid.

The current system only gets worse as more people hit 50.
Then new players or anyone(everyone) who wants to make an alt is screwed.

canceled my sub yesterday for PvP design reason. I am lvl 50 and bored of playing WZ with lowbies, full champion set and no incentive to play anymore besides getting battlemnaster which isnt even that much better, no rated WZ, no arenas, ilum design sucks.

I agree that they should find a way to make PvP-leveling more enjoyable, but everything takes time. Compared to other MMOs, this is probably the most successful launch ever. I think people are forgetting just how many things they have to handle right now.
they have had the time to make it and the ability to make it the way WE (the beta testers) asked for months and *********** months, "things they have to handle" is what? oh ur refresh rate can be changed now on ur character log in page! wait can't u do that in game though??? (yes...)omg that was like so *********** needed atm! not like literally over half the ppl that play this can even get a stupid cast bar to work correctly, but u find time to do stupid **** like, oh now ur security key works .3x better! WE SO DID WORK.... this game fails, the company fails and you fail for thinking its worth anything other than garbage. go play WoW or Rift and see the difference for urself. not like half the ppl here don't just post **** for the hell of it cause they suck at real life and want to argue cause ur behind a computer instead of their face. and no maybe you forget how if u can't push 2 and it's a cast, and it loads 2 times or 1.5 times ur missing time to use other abilitys and movement in pvp. worthless game. ****

For all of those canceling or not. I wanted to give you some news.

Fellow PvPers, thank you for taking on the challenge of player vs player combat in The Old Republic!

In the first week after launch there were over a million Warzone matches played, with nearly half of all players participating in Warzones. Bad news for Republic players, though - the Empire currently leads overall, having won 53% of all Alderaan Civil War and Voidstar matches (across all servers). Huttball has been played the most, accounting for 39% of all matches – and yes, we’ll be adding a new same faction vs. same faction enabled Warzone in the future.

We are all really excited at the tremendous volume of participation we’ve seen in PvP thus far. Your interest and demand dictates what we’ll be delivering in the near future. I wanted to give you some insight into where we are with PvP development and where we are going.

First and foremost here is what we are addressing as a top priority:

Level 50 Bracket Warzones: Level 50 players will have a bracket of their own, playing in separate Warzone matches to lower level players. This is something we have wanted to do for some time and now that there is an increasing number of level 50 players we will be implementing the feature in January.

Open World PvP on Ilum: The planet of Ilum currently allows for open world PvP even on a PvE server, but the mechanics and incentives of the planet are not in as intended yet. We’re working on longer term goals for the planet and for other PvP areas, but expect to see some interim adjustments in January - such as more respawn points to focus conflicts, restricting Companion Characters from the area, and revisions to rewards. Ilum will also become a major source of Valor. Valor buffs will increase and decrease based on the objectives your faction owns. These buffs increase the amount of Valor you receive per player kill. However they do not give anything in and of themselves, so players will still need to defeat other players for significant Valor rewards. Additionally, daily and weekly missions will require player kills to complete. Player kills for quests and Valor credit will have diminishing returns per player killed. So, the more players that are fighting other players, the better it is for everyone.

Combat Gameplay: You’ll see several optimizations come online in January, and we are going to continue to tune this as time goes on.

We also have other exciting features coming in the near future including Ranked Warzone Matches, PvP Stat Tracking, Open World PvP Loot Drops, more Warzone medals for different objectives, Guard Optimizations and Target Optimizations.

Additionally we’re looking at ways to enable team vs. team, more level brackets and the ability to choose which Warzone you want to play in.

This is not a complete list of everything we’re working on that’s PvP related, but we have to keep some surprises for later! Thanks again for all your feedback and please keep it coming. We read as much as we can then cross reference with metrics to take action on features and tuning the game to ensure an enjoyable and competitive PvP community.

In order for me to cancel my sub because I am unhappy with PVP I would have to acknowledge that SWTOR has real PvP to begin with, a system that is at least at the point of possible large scale improvements in a short period of time............I can not.

SWTOR is a PVE game, unfortunately. Good PVP is to be had elsewhere.

I never understand why people who rush to 50 and burn themselves out feel they are justified in their complaints. Before you start whinging that you didn't, and say you just played the game and 'somehow' ended up at max level with amazing gear and got bored, just remember that playing for 6/7/8+ hours a day IS rushing. This game and almost all others arn't designed to be played all day every day for weeks. If you play so much obviously you will get bored/burned out/frustrated. God, just learn to restrict yourself and play a few hours here and there and everyone will be a lot happier.

SWTOR isn't competing with WoW at release, it's competing with WoW now. This is some of the poorest pvp I've ever played, inexcusable when there are plenty of games to learn lessons from.
