Or you can grind mobs?

I always felt that repairs were a horrible idea. Why? What happens if your gear breaks and you can't pay repairs?

You're pretty much done for the night and can't play anymore because you don't have gear/money. Repairs end up forcing players to stop playing if they can't make cost. There are far better goldsinks out there than one that ends up with many players unable to play.
You can't run from trouble
Ain't no place that far

The question should be "Why are we wiping so much?" are you changing up tactics? are you just bullrushing it? how is your CC team? how is your healing team? Is this particular raid too hard for the current group makeup?

Also are you using interrupt? every class has one with a cooldown around 16. Are your tank using them? are you rotating them between your teammates?

How about "The RNG got us again" due to uncontrollable things in the fight?

75k?

100k?

Prepare to spend most of your days farming credits if you chose not to level slicing.
That's quite the repair bill! At level 50 I have 2 million credits, all my inventory slots, an epic speeder, 2 bays in my bank vault and all my class skills. I do not have the slicing skill.

Second, 10 wipes on hard mode? After 3 tries there is no shame to stop and reassess your group and try again the next week when you are all properly geared and organized.

Finally the magic way to make money is sell everything that drops. Do not take a craft skill and take bioanalysis, scavanging and archeology. Sell all the collected mats you pick up. Do your space and PvP daily missions. Starting at level 25 you can make about 15K just doing space missions alone, the amount gets higher with each new space scenario you pick up afterwards.

So you want repairs to be cheaper so you can continuously tackle a hard boss? Nah. I like the way it is. I would rather get to the point where the raid leader says that we should try another night instead of steamrolling through. If you aren't getting a boss the first 3 or 4 times, you obviously need better gear, more practice, or a new raid group. Sounds harsh, but thats the truth.

the dailys net what about 100k total? and take an hour. someone who gets home from work raids for 4 hours doesn't have time do do those dailys
ANY player who spends 4 hours a night raiding and complains about not having time to do anything to earn enough credits to cover their repair bills is a fail raider with pitiful time management skills.

Just saying...

You've obviously never done progression raiding.

I agree. There should be no repairs. Gear should just break and replaced via the GTN. It would strengthen the economy and make crafting a worthwhile endeavor.

It would also make progression raiding a complete headache and make raiding in general worthless because the gear would just break. That would be a terrible game design.
