Hopefully a Mod or Dev member will pop in and at least let us know that they will look into it. Heck .. if it takes a while to fix it: that's cool.
I seem to be able to fix it if I level out my view and look straight ahead instead of slightly down on my toon. Prolly related to the angle of your camera.

I was wondering if others saw the green walls as well. Their origin point seems to be the beacons on or around bases. You can see the green light in the beacon, but at the top of the beacon where it's supposed to stop sometimes the light bends and flies out at a 90 degree angle into the world. Sometimes it's a single ray, but most often it's a huge wall based on the angle and location of the beam to your screen.

Oh and I've seen the green walls in 3 computers running different video cards. All nVidia btw and all updated to the most recent (non-beta) drivers. Since not everyone seemed to be experiencing this problem I assumed it was a problem with the drivers, but I didn't feel like trying older drivers to fix it.

IMHO it seems to be a "maping" issue. The way the textures are mapped. It can be very tricky, expecially in a game like this when there are so many items and activities in an area like we have all discussed (on Tatooine). Add to that the additional lighting affects (additional mapping) ... and yeah ... that can create the problems that we are discussing.

I'll agree with most on here that it was an issue and doesn't affect game-play performance wise; however, it can affect game-play on different levels. I found the issue to be worse by far on Tatooine. The affect actually prevented me from "seeing" where I was going as the "green wall" appeared. I had to use the map for a bit to figure out where I was. Once I traveled away from the taxi terminal the issue was gone. It's obvious the main issue revolves around the taxi terminals and transport systems. If we all can figure this out then I'm sure BW can as well and will eventually iron out the issue.

I'm usually able to clear the green walls, but having Mako's green healing grid on my back all night does get pretty annoying.

I miss Mr. Orange Pixel.

Let us all observe an moment of silence for him.

...on the other hand, it made me think my monitor had a dead pixel.
