Indeed.

WoW boss encounters are 6-12 minutes a piece, SW:ToR is on par from what I'm reading.

if you think flashpoints are long you obviously never did blackrock depths in vanilla. that thing was an epic 6 hour journey.

This. There really wasn't a length difference between WotLK and Cataclysm dungeons...what changed was the difficulty, particularly for healers.

The length is fine. Most flashpoints don't take more than an hour if you're with a coordinated group.

so what you want is que up for dungeon, get loot, just skip the boss killing part, that takes too long right.

op WOW is --------------------------------------------------->

this is not the game your looking for.

Honestly clearing time depends entirely on your group. I just made a run of Taral V without wipes in about 30 minutes with a good group (including the bonus boss).
It really will shorten down once the mechanics get polished and people actually "get the hang of it" at least that's what I think.

The only thing that is really annoying me is the "return to medbay" thing. Really if I'm going to spawn at a further point of the fp anyway please don't make me sit through two loading screens just to get to that starting position, just spawn me at that "checkpoint".

A few buddies and myself cleared BT in sub-30 minutes last night. That was our 4th or so time doing it though.

We did False Emp with the same group in an hour and change.

HM obviously.

The flashpoints are actualy pretty quick. That false Emp run included about 5 or 6 wipes on HK, 1 on the bonus, and 1 on Malgus.

Flashpoints are for me, a bit too long. BT is perfect. Minimal trash, pacing for the group. There is a reason BT is the only daily hard mode spammed on my server right now. Every other hard mode is just so much TRASH. Hammer was another expertly designed flashpoint. Even Athiss.

But the hard modes are bt and a bunch of trash filled slog fests. It kills me that I have to spend my limited game time both looking for a group (even as a healer it is difficult, and guild is leveling) as well as running the instance. By the time I am done, I am usually done for the night.

I would like to experience more of this game rather than 1 flashpoint a night. Please.

Then play when you have time. I do NOT want to see what I saw happen in LOTRO where they split instances up in sections.

And you don't know what you're talking about. The time it took to do instances didn't lose 1 sub for Blizzard. How about cutting the crap. If anything, people left because instances got shorter and the game turned into a care bear fest.

And WoW has never left half it's subs. It's down to about 10 mil from 12 mil.

Next time know what you're talking about.
