The green laser light show near the taxi access points is really irritating. PLEASE fix it soon.

I had this with my previous card (Radeon 4350 or something) and still with my new one (Radeon 6670).
I thought it was meant to be some kind of forcefield that didn't get rendered properly when I first saw it in the jedi starter area in the beta.

I was thinking it was just me cause I am running an older card, high end but older. Also the fps issue is still plaguing the better cards too? I can be just running around just fine and then hit a spot, the droid factory on Balmorra , mostly just one hall I practically come to a standstill, move on to another hall and I am fine again. In beta and early access I had no problems while one of my friends did. Now I am having issues even in my ship.

But I am glad it is not just my card with the green glare. And I do not have an ati card either.

This is happening to me as well.
It is not a overheating problem (I have so much cooling in my rig it's not even funny)
It is not a driver issue. This issue happened on the old drivers I was using and they are still happening on the newest beta drivers that have specific SWTOR improvements.

yup .. there is an issue of sorts. I'm not attacking the Dev team. The game itself is super. BUT.. IMHO when something like this is obviously occuring. It should be looked into. Most everyone has been very civil (aside from one smart axx reply) in asking for this to be looked into.

For this to be something that is be happening with ATI and other cards ( like mine) ... it does raise a good question. If someone has found and RESOLVED this I would be currious to know the answer.

It should also be noted that just because we are pointing out an issue does not mean that we are on a rant, foaming at the mouth or other wise discrediting the game. These things happen to the BEST of games. It just needs to be fixed.

Have it mostly on Tattoine Republic Shuttleport, looking towards city.
Seems to emanate from this green light Pillar thingy.

this occurs in other areas on Tatooine as well. And YES you are correct .. moving around does make it go away: Which makes me wonder if it is some sort of texturing issue dealing with lighting. I do know a littel about 3DS Max ... but not enough to be specfic as to how this might be created.

Hopefully a Mod or Dev member will pop in and at least let us know that they will look into it. Heck .. if it takes a while to fix it: that's cool.
