I got the Rave effect in beta while I was playing a smuggler. I still haven't experienced it on my BH, but it was all over Tython when I started playing a Knight.

Thought it was only me, yes I have been getting this in certain areas too. It looks like a green lazer show, and it doesn't look pretty. Doesn't make a huge impact on my gaming experience but I hope they fix it soon.

I have experienced this too, basically every time I visit a taxi point on Tatooine now. It gives me a headache. I am on a year old Asus gaming laptop with a cooling mat, it is not over heating. I've noticed this green light issue over a few days of play now, getting increasingly worse. It has gotten really bad on Tatooine where it shows up invariably at every taxi stop (for me) now. I am really hoping it gets better once I'm off this planet - it's seriously wrecked the experience for me when I get a headache every time I travel on a big sand planet.

And I am not QQ-ing because I hate TOR or am a whiny turd. I love this game, so much!! Huge fan. I don't mind transition bugs, I understand it's a new game and bugs will be ironed out over time. I Just can't stand the headache I get from this bug and hope it gets fixed ASAP.

I've seen that laser show, and no, it's not an issue with the card. It's the terrible graphics coding this game seems to have :/ they should've waited 1 month to fix that issue after all the people who suffered from it in BETA.

CTRL+U U doesn't fix this btw
I've often wondered if I were the only one experienceing this. It's especially bad on Tatooine: most around the out posts or "city" areas. And it is very bad !

Note to Dev team: Your work is for the most part excellent. I would have someone look into this. My system is new enough (64 bit DDR3 with and excellent graphics card, OS is Windows 7 ).

Please look into this issue !

Thank You

this is a problem is primarily with ati cards. soooooooooooooooooooooooo how about you go spam the ATI forums and tell them to put out some new drivers. Cuz yes, that will fix this issue. but since your knowledge of programming is superior you already knew that.

I'll be sure to let my 550TI and 560TI know they are now honorary ATI cards....

Fear not, friends.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
This is happening to me as well.
It is not a overheating problem (I have so much cooling in my rig it's not even funny)
It is not a driver issue. This issue happened on the old drivers I was using and they are still happening on the newest beta drivers that have specific SWTOR improvements.
It is not an ATI issue. I have an nVidia card and it is happening to me.
