Indeed, happened to me on Corellia with the tram as well.
Kind of annoying when you lose your stim each time.

I can confirm both of these. I think Corso's harpoon skill resetting isn't a bug just with him; I think all companions' ability toggles reset like that. I haven't checked, though, since Corso's was the only one I ever toggled off, so I may be mistaken. It would be easy for someone to check, though. On a side note, what were they thinking giving him that ability? It's the worst ability ever for a ranged tank who is a companion of a ranged class.
It does bug with other companions as well. For example, when I was playing with Akaavi, her stance would always reset, so would Bowdaar's or Corso's. And yes, speaking of which, his annoying harpoon of doom resets, too.
Playing with Guss at the moment, and his healing stance has not reset so far for me.

Smuggler related as well: when covering behind an object, most (if not all) abilities that have a cast time tend to bug. For example, Aimed Shot will stop mid cast and the bar will say "interrupted" every time. Same for Speed Shot. And no, not just when my target is behind me. That's why I almost never cover behind objects. Anyone else with that issue?

On a non smuggler note: to repeat what has been said before, rays of green light still happen to me at times, no matter the planet.

EDIT: I see the abilities not casting bug has been mentioned before. I actually typed my message this morning, but didn't post it til later so didn't read the thread in between.

It's pretty frustrating, especially since I have another ability, Trick Shot, that I can only use after Aimed Shot or Charged Burst, both cast time abilities. When they fail I'm sitting there hitting Trick Shot and trying to figure out why it isn't working, and then I have to go back and cast the other ability again. It can waste more than 5 seconds since Aimed Shot is a 2.5 second cast normally, plus the time I spend wondering why I can't use Trick Shot.

There is an entire thread on this that has been locked and brought back after more then 10,000 reply posts. It's not a bug it's a built in function of the combat UI and it sucks.

It's actually a very good read.

Failed To Update Host Bug

Myself and some friends recently did some extensive testing with the patcher for a very low post bug and found out a couple of things.

70% of the time in our experience if you install the patcher in any place other then the default you get the failed to update host response. Fixing the launcher multiple times didnt help. We tested this on several different computers / patched /OS / physical locations.

Simple summary, if not installing to the default location you are more likely to get the response then if you are. If you receive it in the default location it fixed itself every time. Not in the default location it took several ( as in 10-40 ) attempts with patcher repair to fix it. Even then on the next patcher update or game content patch update it would break again.

Oh man, that's terrible. I knew there were some problems with animations from things like getting out of combat and trying to loot or activate a switch something and it channeling the activation but not actually using the switch because I was still finishing up my lightsaber swing or whatever, but I didn't realize it was that bad. I definitely agree with the poster of that thread, that's a game-ruining issue. I was semi-frustrated when they said they were going to have a 1.5 second GCD so that all the animations could line up, but I got over it, but if they value getting to see all the pretty animations over actually being able to activate abilities, this game won't last long with the number of subscribers it has.

As for on-topic stuff, I wanted to say that like many others in this thread and elsewhere, I also see the "green bars" and other graphical interference in random places. This is pretty well-known, but it's not listed in the OP so I thought I'd mention it again.

This is another well-known-but-not-listed bug: often when you log out of one character and into another one of the first character's crew skills will show up in the second character's crew skill pane. It will show up like a fourth crew skill but be unusable. You can solve this by logging out and then back in, or just ignore it because it doesn't affect using your actual crew skills.

Hey Bioware,

Could you make this thread sticky ?

Either do this so we know what the bugs are or update your official bug list... the official bug list is seriously lacking a lot of the major bugs

Bug : Character gets ejected from the taxi in mid flight. typing /stuck will put him back on the taxi pad he initially departed from, but from that point only using the 30 min cooldown quick travel button will work, no taxis, he keeps getting out in mid air and floating to the ground.

Workaround: This problem seems to not show up if the game is started after a fresh computer bootup. If I run WoW beforehand and then log into SW, the bug seems to appear. If I start the game after the PC has been running a while, the bug seems to appear. The only thing that seems to make it temporarily go away is a fresh reboot of windows.

Been a while since I built this machine so older hardware could be playing a part.
MB: MSI K9N Diamond Plus (if I remember correctly)
CPU AMD athlon 64 X2 dual core 5600+ 2.81 Ghz
2GB RAM (PC3200? I think)
Windows XP SP 3 (fully updated)
Nvidia 9800 GTX (6.14.0012.8558)

While playing for the first time in live, I encountered these three issues:

- Green wall lighting bug (well known already)

- Dead enemies did not fall down, they stood in place, about 40% of them did this. This may or may not be only the ones which deploy cover. Specifically the Ord Mantell quest areas. Unsure if it is restricted only to Ord Mantell

- Sometimes the cursor does not shift into the 'loot corpse' symbol. The blue ray of light is there but upon mouseover, sometimes it wouldnt change. Very minor, but still there.
Could only be a latency issue but I thought it would be appropriate to mention it anyway.
- Has successfully scavenged HK -47.
- Has successfully killed Darth Malgus without pushing him.
Every day I'm smugglin'

I originally opened a ticket for the Balmorra BH bug around the 26th. My forum post after after that ticket was closed is here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=100816

Two more posts on the same issue appeared just today (both linked below).

I eventually got a nice email about improving performance on my machine, but no specific info on what was causing it. I reinstalled the entire game over the weekend. After navigating the corrupt download issues, I was able to get through the original cut scene in the hanger, but the very next quest giver still locks up my computer.

I can however, play my IA again. I just cannot have anything else open (like my browser), and I can't swap to alts without a complete shutdown of my computer first. (Vista, 3G RAM)

Maybe if they see how many of us are experiencing this, they'll admit it's happening.

Noticed this to, then figured out the mouse over is tied to the actual NPC model, but the light effect can sometimes appear slightly away from the NPC model. Myself and 3 of my guildmates have encountered this. Normally not a problem, except in tall grass that hides the NPC model and you can't find them.
