Unfortunately it's the lack of level brackets.

The combat animations are great, there is a slight reaction lag but I expect that will be fixed. But for me the biggest issue is dmg & mitigation against much higher level characters. As a lvl 37 trooper my biggest dmg shot hits level 50's for 700 - 1200dmg, in return they hit me for 3k+

I have the best gear I can currently get and know things will improve as i gain levels but from the OP's perspective if he is encountering much higher level characters in WZ the game is not enjoyable at all.

Blostering really has very little impact, instead of dying in 1 hit you get killed in 3

I dont approve of the tone and the way OP has posted but I do understand the anger & frustration with the way pvp is being run at the moment. I also believe the longer BW wait to install bracketing (which I would keep bolstering for) the more dmg will be done and some players will walk away from the game.

PVP = completely broken, u really ??expect me to play the same 3 battlegrounds untill the next expansion, in a lv10-50 bracket oh yea right they've been scaled up << its a joke

No rated pvp<<< !!!!!

honestly i just resubbed to wow just because i missed arena, i hated wow, but just by seeing how bad the pvp on star wars is u made me love it again

SWTOR is like apple

= Lets make an awesome layout so users wont notice the utter lack of functionality

the worst thing is, even the layout sucks...

Of course a game that is 10 years in the making (world of warcraft been in production since 2001) will have a better balanced pvp system with ratings. SWtOR has been out 2 weeks. How about we give them a little more time to balance things out. Even WoW has its unbalanced things. I was an 85 blood DK and sometimes I would kill both people by myself in 2v2 arena (my teamate would die while I would be CC'd the whole time and still win). That is unbalanced. Maybe after 10 years Swtor will be more balanced lol.

World of warcraft's base layout is absolute CRAP compared to swtor. Eventually, you will get your bartender and recount and all your mods that you want. Eventually, you will get your bracketed pvp warzones. Again, the game has been out for 2 weeks...

what if someone was in a bracket at level 45-50. And there were only 8 people who were level 50 after the first two weeks....they would never get in a warzone...The reason they did this is because it makes que times faster.

And to completely balance a level 10 person to a level 50 person can never be done, so stop QQing. People who are level 50 have more talent points increasing percentage heals and damage of moves and have more moves unlocked.

Hope you don't come back.

Just watch the numbers.

Burning Crusade: 2.4 millions sold at first 24h

Lich king : 2.8 million units in its first 24 hours

Cataclysm: 3.3 millions at first day

http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/10/wo...n-first-month/

Until now, swtor have 1.5 Million Players ( 3 weeks )

for me the game is great
yeah, I love the game too. Plus all those number for WoW is after the game had been out 2 years. There is no way the first game had 1.5 million players so soon.

Played many many mmo's and its always the same pvp rants. This pvp sucks they turned it into brand bs pvp blah blah. Face it pvp is what it is. Pvpers do not keep a game going...........sad but true fact the game does not revolve around you. I know i was just as sad when i heard there was no Santa Clause. :

For me This is the part dont understand.

If some players are taking their time leveling and enjoying the quest cut scenes so as a result didnt even try power leveling to 50 asap but also enjoy pvp. Why are those players who did power level and skipped the majority of the content being rewarded by being allowed to roflstomp over other players?

Bracketing should have been in from the start, if people reached level cap within a couple of days or 1 week then thats their bad luck.

Lol the games been out for a week so pvp will obviously have some flaws. As soon as people start complaining they will work on the pvp a bit and make it a lot better.

Some people play through the story fast. I'm level 41 and I have spent my time enjoying the game. I've done space combat, pvp, heroic quests, flashpoints, main story quests. I've loved every minute and I'm already 41. I haven't "power leveled." If my bracket was level 41-45. It would probably take me forever to get in a wz. Why punish the players who play through the content as intended with long queue times for pvp?

They didn't have brackets simply for que times. And to be honest, bracketing probably wasn't a huge priority. They were probably just happy their servers didn't fall apart after releasing the game.

I'm not against brackets at all. I want them, definitely, but they will probably release them just at a later time when there is a more evenly distributed level population.
